- Hello everyone! today I will show you how to install and get started with Arch Linux on a jailbroken PS4 9.00. We will install makemkv to play all region blue-ray discs. We will install a nice-looking emulation front emulationstation. After that we will install RetroArch, PSP emulator PPSSPP, GameCube emulator Dolphin, Dreamcast emulator Redream, PS1 emulator Duckstation, NDS emulator melonDS, PS2 emulator PCSX2, PS3 emulator RPCS3 on PS4 Arch Linux. hope you enjoy it!

Here is a little tip to get Blue-ray menu on your PS4 Linux. 1: yay jre - choose jre11-openjdk 2: yay jdk choose jdk11-openjdk 3: open VLC - tools - presences - all - acces modules - blueray - select the disc region. OK! Good to go!
To play blu-ray on ps4, you only need to run makemkv once like what I did in this video, no need to run it every time

I’m gonna give this a try this weekend.. the last couple times I tried with other tutorials and their dl links my end came out missing things like..I couldn’t dl snaps.. or when I try to upgrade or install something it would say while in linux in the terminal that doing this will effect that in vice versa.. being all I could do is run the Linux that as it came
I need a usb hub that would support mouse + keyboard or mouse + wired controller or all of them working together.
I can't make the Bluetooth work, so I only have wired controller option. Whenever I try to configure emulators and control mappings, my hub doesn't allow me to have more than one device for this process. Would self powered usb hubs work?

Just wanted to make you aware of an issue you might have missed for me at least it doesn't allow me to do makepkg until I give permissions so I had to do the command sudo chown -R psxita /home/psxita/yay before it would allow me to move forward. Also it seems you can't install wget due to it being corrupt so I had to update the keyring with pacman -S archlinux-keyring

I’m finally in and having issues with the PacMan stuff.. while updating I hit n as you do but then it keeps asking me to make other selections with y/n choices.. so I can’t get no packages at all when I do try I get a key ring error every time

@@rabbitgame i checked the compatibility list and i didnt find any such issues mentioned on the RPCS3 website. Is it because of the sub-par Ps4 hardware for RPCS3 or something else? and is there anything i can do to fix audio issues by changing some settings etc. ?

most online games don't let you use linux in the first place because of the anti cheats, dont know if they also ban you while they're at it but probably no. you can play gta online on linux tho

If you guys still care, the su password is separate from the one you first changed, so it’s still changeit. After that, you can change passwords

ye, you can use your phone to send payload, Loading payload directly on the website always gives me problems, so I suggest sending payload manually.

All these commands to run the emulator.. Not to mention the requirements As for the PS3 emulator it is very funny after all this trouble and complexity the game works 26fps Frankly, and from my point of view, it is not worth it to run a specific emulator, I am on a PC with very weak specifications, I have emulators with better performance, and the reason is that the Windows system is much better than Linux, and the emulators are better programmed on it, and the problem is not with the PS4 hardware, but with the Linux system (Linux + PS4 =👎)
That's wrong. Most emulator developers actually use Linux to code their emulators.
The PS4 CPU is very weak. That's why it can't emulate games that well. Emulation needs powerful single core performance which the PS4 doesn't have. Using windows won't change a thing lol.
