Yes, the newer ones are hitting thrift stores now. I'm sure in 15-20 years, she'll be old enough to be vintage/collectible too but I like the originals better
Thanks So Much for All Your WONDERFUL Episodes!!! You do FANTASTIC JOB TEACHING and have So Much Knowledge About So Many Things...You Are Appreciated!! Love Your Channel and the Hanging Ashtray lol...
I'm a brand new subscriber. So glad to have found you through Crazy Lamp Lady. I live in Scranton Pa where we have the Hudini Museum. It was fun seeing something Hudini so far from home.
I have a sooner blue swan and a trumpet vase. Researching over and over the marker name never came up. I learn so much. Thank you keep up the good work!!
Thank you! I'm trying to pay back to all the people who helped me learn over the years by passing it on. Hope you'll like, subscribe and tell your friends
The pink and white Victorian Peach Blow bowl was stunning! So interesting to hear you describe it versus the 20th century Fenton we are used to seeing. The two Wild Poppy pieces were a great find - so pretty, love their happy color.💛🧡 Really enjoyed your video, George! Hi from NL 🇨🇦!
Ha! I just had that same conversation with Cindy from Mimi's treasure cottage last night. They will return though, too ubiquitous in their time to be forgotten
I live about 25 miles from this mall. We were friends of the original owners. It has certainly changed in the last few years. Amazing to see. Thanks for the memories.
George you probably know this but in case you don’t. I’ve pulled off way to much gold in the past. Soak item in warm water and tape will come right off and leaves the gold!!! You can also put a squirt of dawn soap in the water. Soak only the metal or plastic parts. The wood may not appreciate good soak. I love your videos.
Hi! Thank you for finding me, she's so fun and entertaining and I was so pleased I got to share time with her. I hope you'll join me twice wheely and subscribe, I have lots of fun sharing information
@@TheAntiqueNomad I will join you at least often. I like the fact that we can all learn from each other. And you two have a great wealth of information on so many things ☺️
You always find so many interesting items to show. Love those victorian music boxes, so beautiful, especially the German one in the middle. Also this hanging ashtray was neat. Thanks again George, and have a nice week.
Hi George! New subscriber here. I enjoyed this video! I noticed at 36:28 in this video on the back shelf, left side, what appears to be my grandmother’s Westbury Clock Company kitchen or mantle clock. It now belongs to my sister. I’m trying to find the model and date it. I think it dates to early 1900’s. Do you have resources for me to figure this out? Can’t find it on EBay. Thank you for any assistance!
Thanks for subscribing, I'm excited to share my adventures with you! If your grandmother's Westbury clock stood upright (taller than wide), it's a kitchen clock; if it's the one with the columns (wider than tall), it's a mantel clock. In either case, date is right around 1890-1910, styles of both kinds changed after that. A Google search for "Identification & Dating | Horology - The Index", will provide a good place to get specific info. I'm sorry I couldn't get closer to see marks and date info, your sister might be able to tell you a specific copyright date by looking at the bottom of the face, or inside the back cover (if the paper label is still there).
Thanks again for a great video! I try to absorb as much as I can! My husband and I are driving through Kentucky to get to Pigeon Forge next week. I think we will make several stops!
Rightly said..... buy from the reseller. Really enjoyed ...would be more happy if I could see brass items in details. Stay cool N ENJOY With Love from SAM Guwahati Assam INDIA
Hey George, I am from Merritt Island, Florida. Loved seeing the salt and pepper shakers from here. Great score! I love learning from you. Please let me know when you will be back this way. Would love to meet up and bring you to our Thrift store. Be safe out there.
Wow! That mall is fantastic! The entire etagere setup was beautiful! Loved the porcelain lamp and the music boxes!!! There was a vase, with a red price tag, next to the vintage 1950's green dress that caught my eye. It looked like it was really trying to be R S Prussia. There are a lot of beautiful pieces there - some my taste, some not, but that's what makes it interesting😉 Great video, George!!! Thanks!!!
@@TheAntiqueNomad That etagere, and everything on, it would be fantastic in a Victorian parlour! One of the old music boxes would be a great addition, too😉 I used to have a Victorian parlour setup. I still have the 1850's centre table and the 1892 Mason and Hamlin reed organ I had in it. I love that type of furniture.
I wish I had that rack for patterns. I am not where I can get to them yet but my mother was a professional seamstress. We have patterns stashed away here that go back to her mother in the 1920's.
Neat! Some of those are very good and collectible. You just about have to either order a rack from a store fixture display firm or find a fabric store going out of business
Amazing to see the European organs,I have only seen one once before,I thought you were wearing a crystal head dress when you were signing off, thanks for your tour of the antique mall.
@@TheAntiqueNomad This is a little confusing. Wiki says they closed in 2018 but the website shows they have a store at the original location. I don't live there any more, maybe a local viewer will have more details.
Great video George! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Outstanding video! Just a divine treasure adventure!
Many thanks! I really enjoyed doing this one
Awesome video. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!
Thank you! Cheers! I appreciate your joining me
Love pink lucite swan, large Houdini canvas. Cafe board reminds of going downtown and getting hamburger crinkle fries and Coke, with jukebox playing.
Preach!!
Big 🍑 too! I really like this Mall and service is good too
I found that same Lady Napkin holder in a thrift store

Hi Joyce! Thank you for visiting
I love lady head vases I have a few......never knew they could be fake 🤷
There are reproductions, they tend to be a little too bright in the porcelain and often have a gold Roman numeral X on the base

I have a orange/gold USA pottery piece. It’s a large leaf with a matching lid. So cool. I have a friend who decorated in MCM and I’m giving it to her.
