    Which dose funnel do you use? What size is it for the Bianca V3? Also, was that 20.2 grams of coffee? Does that work well for you? How much milk do you use?

      For now I have been using standard 58 mm dose funnel. I have tried up tp 20,5 grams for older coffee to get better pressure and extraction. But nowdays I do use puck screen resulting in maximum of 19 grams for 20 grams basket. I don't measure my milk, just pour it until the bottom of the spout for steaming :), hope these helps

    I like the process, nice coffee, little bit confused about that preinfusion and bars to pull the shot, or if it's light roasted coffee

    steaming seemed quick. Are you using the two or four hole tip?

    I got dizzy on that wobbly table. Looks very unstable. Be careful.

      Hi, yeah that was because the tripod is clipped into the table, it's a very sturdy table with wheels haha, thank you for your kind observation :)

    Also why everyone is draining the water for few seconds before the coffee is attached. I heard some about the water being too hot, but not seen any proofs of that or why it should be too hot

    • @astrochan1212
      @astrochan1212  2 года назад

      For me, I think it's a habit from my all machines I have used, my old machine Oscar II always need to be drained longer, as the first few seconds water tends to be hotter when sitting idly.

    • @dr.angerous
      @dr.angerous 2 года назад +1

      @@astrochan1212 yes. I see. I usually preheat the normcore mesh puck on top of the portafilter to not lose the temperature of the water, so I basically do it too unknownly

      @@astrochan1212 Hi. I currently have an Oscar II and I'm upgrading to the Bianca. How do you find the Bianca compared to the Oscar II?

    • @astrochan1212
      @astrochan1212  Год назад

      @@eoingrenham hello, you'll find that Bianca provide more option on dialing your espresso with the flow profile available among other setting. You'll need to get used to the steam wand, as Oscar steam is more robust while Bianca's steam is strong but smoother, hope this help.
