and, has to stop herself from responding in a way that wouldnt be able to air on US tv... (im told, by a few people who worked on her show back then, that she had to tell them, after the show, what she almost said at least 2x)
joan had a genuine sense of humor and whit about her, is it strange that in many videos of her, i have wanted to give her a hug threw time?
she didnt take crap and, could dish it out when provoked... :D

she had a sense of humor, and, im told by people who worked with her on the show, often she had a hard time not saying stuff that was NOT acceptable on tv... smart ass with a quick mind.. and genuine sense of humor... watch spaceballs, and if you can find where they talk about her role, a large amount of her work was adlib(what we saw that is), one of the roles as a child, that made me know who she was and gain some affection for her...
why is it we have to lose people like jone, dave, john, people whos content actually brightens our lives, rather then politicians or some people whos deaths wouldnt make the world in general, a better place, rather then worse... I absolutely love this. It starts out with Joan using them as an example of music being a bad influence. In 5 minutes she finally understands the humor and what these guys are doing, does a 180 and invites them back anytime. Dave Brockie had a fast wit, he was able to take a question from Joan and immediately hit her with a funny answer. The ‘razor sharp wit’ and ‘Cleveland’ lines were hilarious!
