I apologize if I sounded rude in my rejection at speedrun.com I think you're playing the PAL (european) version of the game on either emulator sped up or a NTSC console which makes the gameplay go much faster then intended and the PAL version also has different physics. You need to play the correct version (the (U) version of the game) on either emulator or console for the speedrun.com leaderboards. I already checked and unless the Romstation's rom (the one supposed to be NTSC) isn't, then i don't know. But it's weird, and there's something that is missing. Maybe the emulator is fucked up, i don't wanna screw up everything so i don't know how to configure it like it should. I'm gonna try another rom, but yeah, i don't get it
Dylan Leonard well. What emulator are you using? I suggest you go with Fceux or Bizhawk. Either way that is clearly the PAL version because the physics are different then ntsc (can do helicopter skip without grabbing rope for instance) so I'd suggest a new rom
