That would have to feel so soul crushing that your wife whom you sat by the hospital bed with like that wakes up and thinks your her doctor and completely forgets everything about you guy's. Man how could you deal with something like that
It's such a scary feeling to be told that you live with somebody or have a child after getting amnesia from a car accident. I don't WISH this on another person ever
I myself was diagnosed with a TBI after only 4 months of being married and I didn't recognize my husband as my husband but as my friend. I still now have no memories of my wedding day to him. I have looked at pictures from that day and I still have the dress but nothing memory wise returned to my brain. It has been a whole learning process to "fall so deep back in love with him" and I hate it that this had to happen so soon in my marriage to him.
It’s been more than 9 years that i watched this movie for the very first time. But my response to this scene never changes. Cuz girl if I were you, I would be like “I might not remember our vow but you’re so wow! Okay, now where’s our home? let’s go!!” to that Channing Tatum😂
I wonder if this is a taste of what it must be like to have dementia? Man this is scary 🥺😢💔I’ve lost a few people from/to dementia already so that’s why I asked.
Such a weird scene...If your wife wakes up after a trauma like that you sit by her bed holding her hand, you don't stand across her bed with the doctor...of course she was confused
it's clear that she didn't remember him even after he sat next to her and told her that he was her husband. His initially standing at the end of the bed, which he was told to do, is not what confused her.
Would he do the same? Would it be worth the fight? Or would it be to complicated; thus, he would just walk away?!? I once knew this answer...now, I am not sure!

People with multiple personalities live with amnesia because their memories are stored in the different personalities.
Once she asked about her law degree, you can see his face goes, "Ooo, you're that far back..."
This is a terrified feeling laying in the hospital and lost memory
Yall saying all this but you dont understand true love.

are you hard of listening????? the nurse told him not to crowd her
The very first line in the clip he was told to give her space

yeah seems misogynistic

In 2018, however, he admitted to having an affair and they divorced.

I can't help but watch this and think "He'll get stuck with alimony and lose half his stuff in a divorce to a wife who doesn't remember anything. :p
