Darryl R. Matthews, Sr., graduated from the University of Central Missouri (1975-1977) with a degree in Sociology/Political Science. He was the Executive Director; Chief Operating Officer of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) from March 1998 - March 2007, the 32nd General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity from January 2005 - December 2008, the Executive Director of the National Medical Association (NMA) from October 2011 - January 2014, and the Executive Director of the NABA from January 2014 - October 2015.
