i love watching lukes covers because they arnt boring. he shows interest in his drumming, which makes me want to watch what he talent he has. it just shows that he is confident and proud with how he plays. this right here no matter what you think about his skill level or if there are drummers that are better then him. he is a fantastic drummer and he should be considered a role model for future drummers. i hate watching drummers that are stiff and look like they have a pole up there asses.

Trust me, stick tricks to drummers like Luke is just a way to keep rhythm. Any drummer that has been self taught usually does this. I myself have a hard time stopping myself from doing them while playing. It becomes a force of habit and its a great way to help keep rhythm and helps teach you how to use your non-dominant hand for your hi-hat/fills. Great long, great drumming and you sir are my inspiration.
