Hey guys. The song Is special to me because I am this person. I lost my wife to Covid and I never had a chance to make it right. Love yours everyday because tomorrow is not promise.
This makes me feel like crying, me and my friends would gather around the house and play albums after school. and 45s ..most of them are gone at young ages. Looking at the times we live in now. I would do whatever it takes to get the joy of being with my friends back.. I've learned I've learned never take good times for granted. God bless all of you who are connected to these comments.
Had to stop the car to hear this song I lost every thing wife daughter grand baby in a accident things like these songs make me cry instantly memories I love my thm rip babies
Sadie is probably my favorite but I can say this "the present generation sure doesn't know how to sing deep soulful tunes that make you swoon, think of life, the past or present or to touch you to the depths of your soul."
Man! they do not play music like this anymore. This is a BEAUTIFUL song by the Spinners, I have not heard this song since I was 14 years old. Now I am 65 and retired. The music they have now does not even compare. These are PERFECTIONIST AND PROFFESIONALS. AMEN!
I would like to thank the Creator of RUclips for making it possible to be able to go back and listen to some of this great music. Because these days good music is hard to find.
You never lied.
So true ...
Facts...creators it was started by 3 co workers who worked for Microsoft or Apple or something
The three worked for PayPal. Google bought it from them after they were in operation for just over one year.
@@OldschoolMusicJunkie thanks I appreciate it couldn't remember
I'm so glad that I'm a 70's baby, I was raised listening to good music 🎶🎵 like this.....
Philippe Wynne !!!!! One of the greatest who ever did it..... RIP !!!
Maybe I'm just getting old but I can't sit through this song without crying. It touches me too deeply. At least it lets me know I'm human. Thank god for classic soul music.
You are not alone. It takes you there.
I cry too when I hear this song
There are still some of us that cry, Chunky Bustout, it is the only way to release the pain we may be stuck with the rest of our lives. And I am one.
There will never be music like the music we.
Grow up on
I'm 62 year old, love this song. I know actually where you coming from.
When I hear this song, It takes me to the way the WORLD is now and how much it has changed. You have to stay strong and pray for all people that are suffering in this WORLD today. Mass Shootings and War in Ukraine, God is watching always be good.
That’s grown folk music
OMG, take me back to the 70’s, please.. As a child I didn’t appreciate the music we had, but I sure do now
And for the rest of our existence. Our musical culture was sooooo rich and alive then.
Thanks for being here
When I first heard this song in the mid seventies, I cried. When I hear this song today, still I cry. Thank you Spinners for the opportunity to grow up listening to your music.

Music 🎶 like this takes me back to where I didn’t have a care in the world, I can still see my mom in the kitchen cooking some good old fried fish music playing in the back ground and her saying this is my song!!!!… I didn’t realize then what I know now , how much music played in developing my character… Thank you 🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is some of the greatest music in the world thank you RUclips for doing what you do this is some of the greatest music in the world teaching people cell culture
A thought can be colored, but an emotion can't be touched. Love is such a priceless emotion that all human beings take for granted, but when it's gone, then we realize how valuable it was.
One of the best bands in America!!!! Should be there in the Hall of Fame!!!
He has that cry in his voice . This applies to every person who has emotions. SANG THE SONG MAN.❤🔥❤
The Orchestra is Tight....❤
As we use to say - sang baby, sang ! Takes me back to Detroit, at one of the Sprinner's performances, yes, like it was yesterday! Great songs and performers last forever!
“Baby you can’t color a thought, and you sure can’t touch an emotion!” Pure lyricist!
One of the most beautiful songs ever written.
You can't get better than ole school music...this is the music of my young woman era. The 50', 60' and 70' were the best music ever. You can't fight originality.
Yessiree!! I'm working on some Sam Cooke for tonight!
Thanks for being here
Sometimes I think back when I was watching my mom cleaning up the house while singing and dancing to these great songs
73, 74, 75 in my opinion was the greatest collection of music period
Hands down one of the Great songs! Looks so much like my older brother! Calvin Neloms missing you brother. You kept us in stitches! Warren Neloms miss you little brother! We talked about Jesus Christ every day. Delton Neloms Calvin's Son. A bad man with the bass! God promised thru his Son to bring us back together again! One day we will be together again. Good memories for that Era!
It takes a fool to learn,
I was that fool,
God Bless the spinners,
And then she's gone and I stare out at the Ocean for a few years,
Then do 30 years in the Army,
But this white boy never forgot the Spinners, they're beautiful music and how lucky I was to grow up with them, My True Brothers from a different Mother
Wonderful memories and yes, they were a very special group
Hey brother I'm Black in the words of Adam Clayton Powell ( KEEP THE FAITH ) were blessed for tech to be able to reach back and appreciate the arts.

Age doesn't matter, its just good ole school music
%$#@& timeless!
This is what the youth of today is missing .. each one please teach one
They just don't sing fron the soul anymore.... that's why that era of music lives on.. it's truly timeless
I felt every bit of emotion Phillapee emitted in this classic song!
THIS IS GROWN FOLKS MUSIC ❤️
Fact!!!
After two failed marriages and only one woman--to whom I was never married--this song really strikes the heart. Maybe in another decade I'll try again. I'll probably screw up.
A Great American Icon.
When decision making by motown executive barry gordy did not favor The Spinners , Went onto to Greater Success elsewhere.
Talented Group !
Thanks be to GOD !!
Merry Christmas Everyone !!
I really wish they still made music like this. Such a beautiful time back in those days
I never get tired of listening to old music with real messages
It never gets old!!! From a wonderful time in our lives.
So smooth
So smooth running couture to bring music and crystal to me
@@OldschoolMusicJunkie yes it does

Crying, brings back memories of when I was happily married, love this song anyways...
When Phillipè Wynne died alone on that nightclub stage at the young age of 43 the world lost the voice of an angel. One of the greatest soul/church voices of his generation and the world has forgotten about him
He had demons like we all do - and his were real - but he brought joy to so many millions that we owe it to him to keep his name alive. His name died out with the drive-by shooting of his son - there is no more, so let’s keep his name alive by listening and remembering this voice of an angel
84 years old and still loving this type of music as i did from day one..
I'm gonna have to go back a little further in time, in your honor. Next week!

A man that never lied about life. Many will never know what love actually is...... rest well my friend
One of the greatest vocalists ever.
This type of music was when we still had love 💕 for each other, we have to show this generation how to truly
love each other and music is one of the ways we know how. I can always
feel the love when I hear this song.
😊😊😊 🎵 🎵🎵💖💖💖
First time listening to this song before my husband walked in to my life I saw everything black and white.with him by my side I seen the the true colors of love.i don't regret my past I'm here today with my true listening to all the oldies
My Mother in law said this is real music.
Life is too short for all the bitterness, and hatred that has become so normal today. Jesus has said that "love is the greatest attribute that we can have." Let us love everyone, and especially those that we live among everyday. Love loves no one, but humans are called to love each other...
This is by far one of the greatest songs i've ever heard. Really love the piano intro.
How folks on here not liking this us beyond my comprehension
I wish I had a time machine...I go back...and never return ❤😔
I'm 63 and I raised my sons on this music and they say my music helps them to understand how this music influenced today's music
Wonderful!!!
As a 50 year old man.... I love his voice
i'm a heavy metal rocker, progressive rocker 62 years old but i always loved his voice & still miss him today.
Just as I am a main soul man, I love a great deal of rock music. True music lovers find greatness in every genre. Thanks for being here.
My husband sang this song to me when we first met cuz he loved me 50 years !!!
This was a great group and very underrated. This group had lots of hits. I tear up thinking about the 70's, when I hear this song. I am 67 plus.🤗
I'm gonna put a strong medley together for next weekend

Younger need to listen to this carefully,it's take a fool to learn that love don't love nobody, broken heart will heal ,beautiful song, they tell it like it is
You command me to “Be still and know that I am God”. I know what a mess I make when I don’t listen… so I am being still.
Send alla your Angels to hug me Father God… I am so lonely.
"It takes a fool to learn that love don't love nobody"
No one HAS TO love you.
No matter how much you think you love them.
Now that's deep!
So true
Yes, exactly, I had to learn that
@@bernardmoon3812 shit hurt
Mark, your words are powerful and true. No one wants to come to terms with being a fool. It is easy to pretend like you are alright; the truth is that you will never be the same.
I remember this song when I was younger, ...I appreciate this kind of music that really hits the heart...this was when black on black love was booming and so intense. black men and women were really in love.

We are going to lose these musicians and I am so grateful for them.
It's wonderful to see a man in love and the woman he loves, loves him too.
You never get too old to enjoy real music and this is one.
Man that 70's era of music was so good hearing singers actually singing
There's something magic in old school black music.
