My late dad used to play these kinda songs & got me hooked even though I'm more of a punk/hardcore listener. These classics will never fade. Thanks old man...
This is the song that marked my life. After years, you realize and identify who was the true love, who still lives in my heart and that I will take forever.
Damn right. I left an ex under a park tree after session of therapy. Yes...I was a giant asshole...and don't I feel it all these years later. Still love you Donna....1994 seems like yesterday.
Yup, 63 years strong and listening. Lost my best friend cousin in 08, we played the 45 over n over to learn all the words to this song. One of many in the 1970's .miss you sister...
You should never believe blindly in anything. The Bible says that real faith is the evident or real demonstration of realities that you don't see. So if you're believing blindly you need to do a little bit of studying in creation and science
I was 36 years old when this song was made. I saw the Manhattans in person. They were fantastic. I am now 72 years old and I am still playing this song. Gerald put his heart in this song.

Eu nunca vou me esquecer disso.

I can picture it now like it just happened yesterday. There I was with my then girlfriend sitting in my 69 Mustang Mach 1. We were in a rough patch of our relationship and I thought I was falling for someone else. I didn’t want to hurt her by seeing this other person on the side. I would never do that to the sweetest person I have ever been with! I was trying my hardest to end our relationship. I must have played this song a hundred times on my 8 track! I had this song on a loop. We both just sat there with tears in our eyes. I held her in my arms for what I thought would be the last time! 41 years later and I still love her today!! We’ve been blessed with three beautiful children and now six beautiful grandchildren!! This song will never get old to me!! Especially when I realized I almost made the biggest mistake of my life!! 😊😊😊
This has to be one of those songs that not only has a sad- beautiful set of lyrics but the serpentine of notes all along combined with the feeling of the performer is just about an overdose of Nostagia that feels like a shot of morphine to cure the worst pain in your soul. Just one of the most beautiful songs to listen to when we remember that era (the 70s) and want to nostalgically relieve those wonderful moments once again. This is what love does!
I played this for my father’s funeral, I grew up jamming to Motown with him, when I received the call he decided to go. This song came up first as I turned to mine n his music together.. 😢❤
37 here and able to enjoy this as well as new music. How great it is that I get to expand my music library while you're only ever doing the same old stuff. Sounds boring to me.

Vivendo no presente
E a consciência
Qual tem
Pois todos eles
Tomaram uma só decisão
E viram acontecer
E ouviram a própria voz
Ao cantar
Em uma em um microfone
Pois a palavra a qual da alma
O espírito mostra
E Deus faz o compromisso
A obra
Aonde todos veem
E tudo acontece
Significa é mostrado a tudo
Horizonte infinito
O norte é definido
