I remember watching several episodes of In Bed With Joan in around 2014, and they felt kitschy and awkward and delightful at that time too. Grateful for her team doing this series

Maaaan, if your Mom was still here (GOD rest her soul) how she would have helped us all get thru Covid, the elections, etc. I was sooo shocked but not in a way when the news came out she passed bcuz i saw where you 2 spoke about her not having any more surgeries. I lost my Mom almost 3 yrs ago Nov 27th&it still devastates me at times. I can only imagine how rough it was for you&your Son to loose the force that was Joan. Im glad to see you moving thru things&helping to continue her "Legacy of Laughs" she soooo would Looove to know we were encouraged with her jokes in the future. What a great idea to release these. I work around many celebrities Joan was on the top of my list as sweet, sincere, gracious and kind.
She was so sharp and unfiltered. ❤ I'm glad for her family to have these and other videos to look back on. I would give anything to see a video of my grandmother who raised me, or hear her voice. People don't talk about how you forget their voice. Something like this is such a gift. ❤

Upload the episode with the crazy Gary Busey. That particular episdode mysteriously disappeared from RUclips and I can no longer find it. It's such a chaotic, weird and funny episode of IN BED WITH JOAN and seeing Joan's expressions throughout the interview as Gary goes bananas and off the deep end is hilarious.

I remember this episode!😩 I miss Joan so much. The day she passed, I decided to finally do my stand up set for my first time. ❤️ She went through so much and kept going. Her and Theo are so rare and precious!

@@whoopwhoop1584 I did alright! Pretty good for first time and the circumstances. It was weird.. and another “comedian” was heckling me my entire set and talking over me. He wanted me to mess up but I was able to roast him and it was great!!

It was SUCH A Thrill when you both allowed me to Smudge You and Your Mom also “Gifted me” some Precious 1 on 1 time when I was able to share she is “A Hero” to me. I Shared that I remembered being a little girl wondered what my Dad was belly laughing about late at night when I was supposed to be in bed and…. I’d sneak back downstairs & hide behind the railings and see him in his lazy boy recliner after my Mom & us kids were “supposed to be” in bed and…. I’d see this women sitting at Johnny Carson’s dest making my Dad LOL. Back then there were NO WOMEN in that position, Don’t think there are ANY really now either. Women with “Successful” Professional Entertainment Careers Interviewing Celebs. I remember watching when your Mom announced on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson that The Love Of Her Life “Your Dad” had died and YOU WERE HER PRIORITY AS YOU & COOPER WERE UNTIL THE DAY SHE DIED & BEYOND. She was A Courageous Trailblazing Communicator and Commedianne, When people ask me what she was like… I say…. Joan Rivers was THE BRIGHTEST LIGHT. SHE SHINED FROM INSIDE OUT. “An Angel”…. Joan's legacy as a comedian is immense, that it's ok to laugh even at your tragedies saved me at some point. Love you and miss you Joan, how crazy that you got to hang out with one of my favorite basket cases Theo Von, it only seems that long ago because of how young he looks here 💕

I loved Joan Rivers, I saw her live once in 1st row at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, NY back in the 80's, she talked to me and incorporated my answers into her act. She was so funny! I have been watching Theo Von, a real talent. Thank you, Melissa, for posting this blast from the past!

Yeah… he was on MTV’s Road Rules way back in the day. That’s where I originally know him from. He’s always been the same too.
He doesn't talk much about his past work, especially reality television. Being associated with reality TV used to be negative and made it challenging to find work or be taken seriously as a comedian.
