    Highly recommend getting the Jonard Buffer Tube Binder Ripper. Or something like it. Especially when the string binder bunches up on you like that. I use to use my knife all the time or scissors and thought that was the best way. once I got that ripper though. cuts through with ease.

    Hey bud, I had a tool that I think it can help you as well when it comes on removing the binding tape, it is Singer Stitch Ripper bought it on Amazon.

    For mid-spans, how do you perfect the length? Is it a list of a certain number of wraps around the basket or tray for each fiber + closure type? It seems delicate with LOTS of fibers where they start pinching with too much, or messy baskets for express fibers if you don't have the perfect length.
