He also told police at the scene she was shot, even though there was no gun there and a gunshot wound wasn't evident under her hair until a pathologist found it. He is a piece of work cheating scumbag who stole her life multiple times. I have to say the bigger question is, "What was Heather **thinking** when she married David Temple?!" He'd murdered his pregnant wife, and a 12-gauge shotgun blast to the back of her head would likely result in a closed-casket funeral due to the lack of remaining head and face to view. Remember, Heather, "What he'll do **for** you he'll also do **to** you."

I remember this so well, I am from the Katy area myself. I actually went to Albright Middle school in the early 90’s where Belinda was a teacher and remember seeing her in the hallways when she was pregnant with Evan. I had friends who had her class and described as a very nice and good hearted teacher. My brother went to Hastings high school where David Temple was a coach and was actually my brother’s football coach. Seeing this happen back then sent shock waves here in houston because both were very known teachers within the school district. Everyone here in Houston believed he killed her and we’re all happy he’s locked up. What’s really sad is his son has never believed his father was capable of murder and has stood by him during the trial. He called Heather mom because she raised him. This one was not close to home but right at home. Excellent speculation Dr.Grande, you gave us details I wasn’t even aware of on David Temple.

true, it seems the fact the dog was so agressive the cops figured the only way back there was to kill it, is pretty huge. It looks like a chow? I've always known them to be pretty mean if not raised to be sweet. I guess that's most dogs though...
that's why it would seem plausible maybe the next door kid 'could' have done it, if the dog was a little desensitized to him and he brought it a raw steak, but that's pretty contrived and why would the neighbor do such a thing in the first place? Surely the kid knows what times they are home and wouldn't try to break in at the times they are getting home every day. Plus, how stupid would you have to be to carry a heavy friggin shotgun to do burglary anyways? That's just goofy to picture happening. Shotguns are cumbersome.
There must be a body of water somewhere nearby with a shotgun laying at the bottom of it... he's a big dude and old football player so if he held it by the barrel and flung it like a discus he could make it go pretty far off a bridge or something.
If I were investigating it, it would have been worth sending divers into nearby waters to look for it but he got life in prison so it's kindof moot.
His little alibis seem contrived too.
That shotgun though... where did he get it?🤔

Not many know this detail but Belinda would always take off her shoes at the door and walk around the house barefoot. When she was found murdered in the walk in closet she was wearing her shoes. That means she was ambushed as soon as she entered the house. No time to put the soup in the refrigerator but forced upstairs into the closet where the noise was muffled. While she was being forced up the stairs she dropped the keys on one of the steps and that's where they were found. Who was in the house when Belinda had entered? Admittedly her husband.

His awful mistress didn’t have the burden of being one - though maddeningly she had the right to become one to Evan, who was isolated from Belinda’s family. So this loser has mommy issues. The opening assessment of others that David was "...People who knew him thought of him as a bully, he was condescending, arrogant, grandiose and thought that he was special....." is indicative of a common trait of all criminals-they seem to all be narcississitic in their belief of their superiority to the extent that they can get away with their crimes. So "Temple of disappointment" takes on further aspects. I tend to believe that dogs' behavior reflect the training their owners give them...."What triggers dogs to be aggressive?
Most often a dog's aggression is motivated by fear, anxiety, conflict about what to expect and what to do and the anticipation of possible punishment"....there is certainly irony that the dog's behavior was a factor in the case built against Mr Temple.

I read about it years ago and have followed the trial and history and the murders broke my heart…Their dog, the chow, always was a big piece of the evidence because I believe that dog would have shredded a “burglar”. I felt so sad for Belinda and Erin, and their families and may they RIP. ❤️💐. Maybe someday Evan will see the truth.

He may have had a hitman do the job if you assume every other detail was correct.Namely the boy's watching TV were correct in their timing. Hit Men are not smart and that may explain the broken glass on the wrong side of the door. That is the only other alternative and would place him NOT at the scene of the murder at the time .However the fact that the dog allowed entry illustrates that the Dog new the intruder/murderer was a friendly .This leans me to thinking that she was murdered by someone she knew.

This case Dr. Grande is discussing in the video concerning a "Fake Intruder" does not sound like a too complicated crime scene for detectives who did the investigation at the time. A far more complex murder scene to investigate up here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada was after Robert Worlsford; an old man; went missing from his St. Albert apartment in July 2017 whereupon a search for him was launched. Then while lawyers were often deliberating about who murdered him police reported a another murder case here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada on Feb 12, 2019 after finding a body in the Devon area which was a long ways away from St. Albert. The actual murder scene where Robert Woorlsford went missing was maybe first attended to by a man named Robert Rafters up to a whole full 4 days later after his girl friend Beryl Musila had presumeably made a call to him when she was asking him for help to move a large and very heavy black garbage bag full of something into a taxi. Beryl Musila was sentenced for the murder of Robert Worlsford on Sep 28, 2023 Beryl Musila who is a single mom to 2 children.

these murderers are really giving the garden variety burglars a bad name. Basically every true crime story when somebody kills their spouse they go for the ‘ol “burglars broke in our house “ routine. They killed my spouse but luckily I managed to escape with a scratch on my pinky. Has this story ever worked in the history of the true crime genre???

Sometimes. Although I had a German Shepherd that was very protective so she could look pretty vicious. She slept in the bed and was regularly given steak, ribs, corned beef, etc. She never bit anyone but she had a loud, intimidating bark.
So you have to be careful when you label a dog as vicious rather than protective.

    • @evelynwaugh4053
      @evelynwaugh4053 8 месяцев назад +4

Lots of dogs are well loved and aggressive. Many breeds were designed to distrust strangers and be protective of their person and territory, so aggressiveness to strangers is in their DNA. Akitas, Chows, Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentinos, and some Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds are all leery of strangers. Also, the dog had just experienced a very traumatic situation, the death of 'Mommy', so he was likely on edge.

If every person who had an affair murdered their partner...it seems that the prosecution made their narrative fit the avalible story..the time line seems very throw together..no weapon no forensics..and by the line of thought anyone with a dog won't have a break in..infidelity is a motivate for sure..but on forensics and no time line ..if the kids watching the moive had heard the shot at a more convenient time..they'd have prosecuted on that.
