The old design is iconic but I really love ascended Lucifer. His mechanical design reminds me of Metatron and a suped up version of his original angelic form.
All we need is Helel and we can make a full team of only Lucifers. I feel like Matter Lucifer being the Final Boss makes it lean harder on his side, but Old lucifer does still feel as imposing as ever. Though I really hoped they would give him the Helel design as an alt due to his role of being a "good" person(as good as Lucifer coud be atleast which is unironically a pretty high bar)

Basically he believes that everyone should have a choice and shouldn't be controlled by anyone but its in a "You need to be able to free yourself and prove you are worthy" kind of way so he appears stand-offish and evil. Nocturne iirc is the only version of lucifer where the stuff he does is "evil" but in the context of the wider lore(he was testing Demi-fiend to see if he was fit as a agent of Chaos) he was basically setting the foundation a new Agent. He does do alot of "bad" things but thats mainly due to the previously stated philosophy of someone should have the power to gain freedom and do whatever they want in life
It's all depends on who's the artist designer that involved in that game. If doi is involved then definitely all of doi demons will also be in that game but if not then they will keep using kaneko design
Actually Angel and Mecha in SMT isn't a rare thing especially if it's about a high ranking angel. Look at Sandalphon and Metatron both of them considered as the highest order Angel and their designs are mecha
Note that there is an enemy only version of megido ark that deals more damage. No idea why they don't just rip the bandaid off and let us fuse Matter Lucifer. Aside from his unique skills clearly not being balanced for player use. Should have just made player only versions of them and let us have it.
How’d you get matter Lucifer? Well, I mean, I know you got him form a cheat table or something, but what demon id he? And will you be making a video on how to do it for everyone not in the know-how?
Pfff Like the angel = robot design space works really nicely with Metatron, Sandalphon and a few others, but not with Gundam Lucifer. And it's quite a shame as Doi is great as a designer but I've felt since the og release of smt v that his lucifer is one of his weakest

Im sad we didnt get to fuse Divine Lucifer, but being able to fuse Kaneko Lucifer is amazing.

They gave Devil Lucifer Root of Evil and kept the animation from SMT3? That's pretty sick.

It's all depends on who's the artist designer that involved in that game. If doi is involved then definitely all of doi demons will also be in that game but if not then they will keep using kaneko design
Unfortunately, game exclusive designs don’t ever reappear again. Matter Lucifer is in the same vein as Nocturne’s Reason bosses.
