When my baby died in utero the doctor sent me home with her still inside me because my body would naturally go into labor and to come back when I did... I'll stop my experience right there and not go further but in alot of states and in private hospitals they don't keep the body there, it has to go to a mortician and they want money up front if the departed had no life insurance... Real talk. She went to a Baptist hospital, not a state hospital so yeah, they don't prepare bodies or intake them most likely. They sent her out the door with the body... Imagine... I can definitely imagine because I was sent away and carried my deceased baby as well for 57 hours and lost my mind. This is love... a woman without love for her baby would dump it off somewhere but love could never disrespect the body by disposing of it disgracefully. Love would endure the torment of carrying it with them until they can lay it to rest properly. You just don't understand love is all.

When i was pregnant with my son I thought I was having a miscarriage. So i went into the hospital and they said I was having a miscarriage and was 75% effaced and I should go home and wait, and they said "I could flush it down the toilet or bring it back to the hospital and they would dispose of it!🤒😭 it was a boy! I went home heart broken by what they said to do!💔 so i waited and nothing happened!! MY son is 13 years old now ! Hes a miracle! The system is sad!
God gave you that second chance because you handed him your pain and you let him take over that moment. You accepted his decision not the hospitals. Yes he is a blessing and was intended to be a blessing from day one.

I’ve just been told yesterday that I had a missed miscarriage (yesterday) I’m 12 weeks, baby’s heart stopped beating at 11 weeks. There were no signs and my body still clearly thinks I’m with child. I’m dreading having to either have surgery to remove my baby, take the tablet or wait for my body to expel naturally. Totally gutted for this lady and to be honest people do not understand the distress when you miscarry. People seem to think that just cos the baby wasn’t born full term that you are not going to mourn the loss of your child. Although I know my baby is gone.... I’m having a difficult time knowing I’m going to have to let my baby go. I think my baby was going to be a boy and have decided to call him Noah. Love my baby.
Perfect example of how screwed up our system is. This woman is innocent and a victim. The doctor should lose his license and the hospital should compensate her. I would never just throw my child in the trash. The baby and mother deserve a proper ceremony. If they can confirm her story through the agencies she reached out to then let her go and grieve in peace. In my opinion she is being honest.
T C you’re a product of you’re environment. No way making excuses for drugs. I have no tolerance for people with those habits. If she was detained for drug use or possession that’s one thing. BUT to be punished for having a baby in your purse that a Hospital sent you home with and then holding on to it for whatever your reason is is absolutely 100% malpractice on the physician and hospital. When I lost my daughter the hospital did the same thing. "Either take it or we will dispose of it" they said. I chose to bury her. The hospital did however provide the casket. And the funeral home picked her up. She was never just handed over to me. So that's crazy. We had a funeral 2 days later. Idk about all the drugs but I can sympathize with her on many other levels. She was in drugs when she miscarried. She miscarried because she was on drugs. Her actions were of one on drugs. She was not clean. She feels guilty now because she's not under the influence and now she feels bad. I believe because she got caught. But she sure popped up when he asked her why she was found with drugs on her. The one I feel bad for is the baby. There must have been programs she could have gotten into. But because she wanted to continue using she didn't. Remember who the truly innocent one is.
You obviously have never had to deal with addiction yourself or of a loved one. First off, women miscarry all the time and there is no proof it had anything to do with the drugs. She didn't know she was pregnant so how the hell could she choose to use while being pregnant? She didn't know she was pregnant so how could she get prenatal care? She didn't know she was pregnant so how could she get into a program for help which more than likely wasn't available because it's not like she had a job and health insurance!! Also, she likely was not allowed to discuss the case. She could have easily gotten herself into more trouble if she had taken a lesser plea or other charges. Her sentencing may not even have occurred yet. Some random interviewer has no grounds for confidentiality. I know a woman who was a professor at my college who had had 3 miscarriages and had saved all the fetuses in formaldehyde in her house. Someone she had confided in reported her to the police and they came and took them all away. Luckily they didn't put in her in jail. But why wasn't she allowed to keep her fetuses? Who do they belong to if not her? What the hell is wrong with people and their obsessive need to control women's bodies? And why do we lock up addicts? Aren't they ill, both physically and mentally and aren't hurting anyone but themselves???

Anways the 1st thing the assholes did was ask if id like to wait a week to go in labor or induce. Like seriously who would want to wait a week knowing the baby is dead. Then after we induced and had her 12 hours later they straight up said word for word Dr "we will throw the baby in the trash for you if you dont take it?" Me " wait what? Of course im going to bury me baby" Dr "ok you still need to stay overnight but your family can take the baby now" We we're shocked, in my situation my dad called a funeral home and they came and picked her up. But this is what those fuckers do. They don't give a shit

My second child passed away when he was 6 months old from SID. At his viewing and funeral I held him in my arms so tight and he was taken from me to be transported to his grave. I didn’t want to let go! I wanted him to stay in my arms so that I could protect him forever because that’s what a mother does. Everyone complained from the sight of me holding my son because he was dead and they were uncomfortable. How does anyone have a right to judge or be selfish unless you have gone through it?! No one knows what they would do in these situations.

When I had a miscarriage, I took the baby to the hospital with me in a baby food jar (I already had a toddler). The staff at the hospital would not touch the "products of conception" because they were not passed under sterile conditions. I thought they might have been able to figure out why we lost him/her by ... testing or something. Anything. They discarded my baby as trash. When I got home I threw away all of my pregnancy tests, too. I later regretted that because those pregnancy tests were the only things I had left of him/her.

Thank you. I was actually in another country, and their cultural responses took me many years to process. Their cultural aversion to anything unpleasant made it impossible for me to even acknowledge my loss. I just had to pick up and move on with a smile. So... in their beliefs, what I presented to them as a baby was not alive, so it was not important. I, too, believe that I will see my baby again. 😊
It's hard to believe that stuff like that happens but it happened to me with my first miscarriage. Hospital staff were nice but for my regular check up after the miscarriage my Dr said " so you lost it, why are you here" I got out of there crying and never went back to him.
She miscarried a baby and they told her to take it with her, you don’t have the freaking right to judge her for relapsing after that. That was cruel question who wouldn’t want to forget that situation and try to relieve the pain.
What this doctor did, is unethical !!! The staff and doctor should have taken measures within the hospital’s policy and procedures to care for this baby’s lifeless little innocent body. What is happening to our justice system and ethics??

For anyone wanting an update on the woman now I have found her most recent facebook and I believe she didn't serve much jail time do to her activity, she is now engaged to another man and from her cover photo I have seemed to believe that she may have gotten the baby she has always wanted otherwise it may just be a family members baby... This is all just conclusions not facts.
The doctor who gave her back her fetus should have their licence revoked because that is not something you should just leave to the mother who just felt with a major loss
Rocky Lynn I'm an ER nurse so i can tell you (and it may depend on state laws, not sure on that) that miscarried babies are treated differently according to their gestational age. Over a certain amount of weeks they are sent to a morgue just like you or I would be, but if they are under that mark the mother can decide what she does with the baby. Most chose to have the hospital dispose of them in my experience, but some also take them home to bury them. That is standard practice, although it can sound creepy to someone who has never been thru it. If that happened to me i would want to bury the baby no matter how small. But, it is the mother's decision to make according to the law in my state and standard medical practice.

What? Her story makes absolutely no sense. I'm very sympathetic to addicts, as I know 1st hand the struggle of addiction. However this woman is very clearly lying. She says she "got clean for tjis baby" and yet she claims she didn't know she was pregnant. She calls her baby an "it." She WAS still on drugs. "Carrying it for someone else" is a classic line from addicts caught with drugs. Any addict could tell you that 1st of all nobody would let someone else carry their drugs. And if somebody was an addict carrying someones drugs, chances are they're gonna do them theirselves. And if you were clean you would be offended at the request of a friend or whoever to hold their drugs. I don't think she is a monster or anything...or that she did anything intetionally malicious. Sequoia George did you watch the whole video? she said she went off drugs to try and get pregnant. They were trying. So yes she went off drugs for that baby because it was the first baby after going off drugs. Doesn’t mean she was still on drugs.

That is not the solution to drug addiction. They can get drugs while in prison too and fall right back into drug use once out of prison. You need to come up with a better solution.

I guess I just mean that he got details from her, like (albeit very brief) family history, what hospital she went to and what exactly did that tell her, what effort(s) she made to dispose of the fetus, what was the exact name of the charity (in case she's bullshitting) and asked some of the questions that I think a lot of viewers were thinking, like why she had drugs in her purse if she claims to be clean, he even brings up relapse and gives her an opportunity to be honest, and like what the fuck went thru her head every time she opened her purse and saw the fetus. Reporters often don't ask the most obvious questions like that, so I guess I was just glad to see him at least ask a few of them.
When clicking on this video I expected to see a evil woman, but after watching it I feel great sadness for the situation she found herself in. If she would have known she was pregnant she would have been a great mother. I hope she got out of prison and found happiness and motherhood.

Full term babies are not aborted. That is not true. Abortions are only legal until the baby can survive on its own. Which is 24 weeks from last period, or 22 weeks post conception and ultrasounds are done to ensure this. In RARE cases, they are allowed up to 26/24. That is ONLY when the mothers life is in immediate danger. Please, get tour facts straight instead of allowing the fear mongering to feed you false information. Women get pregnant by a mans orgasm. She willing used drugs instead of getting help while she was pregnant. That's why she miscarried. When my baby died in utero the doctor sent me home with her still inside me because my body would naturally go into labor and to come back when I did... I'll stop my experience right there and not go further but in alot of states and in private hospitals they don't keep the body there, it has to go to a mortician and they want money up front if the departed had no life insurance... Real talk. She went to a Baptist hospital, not a state hospital so yeah, they don't prepare bodies or intake them most likely. They sent her out the door with the body... Imagine... I can definitely imagine because I was sent away and carried my deceased baby as well for 57 hours and lost my mind. This is love... a woman without love for her baby would dump it off somewhere but love could never disrespect the body by disposing of it disgracefully. So i went into the hospital and they said I was having a miscarriage and was 75% effaced and I should go home and wait, and they said "I could flush it down the toilet or bring it back to the hospital and they would dispose of it!🤒😭 it was a boy! I went home heart broken by what they said to do!💔 so i waited and nothing happened!! MY son is 13 years old now ! Hes a miracle! The system is sad!

I’ve just been told yesterday that I had a missed miscarriage (yesterday) I’m 12 weeks, baby’s heart stopped beating at 11 weeks. There were no signs and my body still clearly thinks I’m with child.
I’m dreading having to either have surgery to remove my baby, take the tablet or wait for my body to expel naturally.
Totally gutted for this lady and to be honest people do not understand the distress when you miscarry. People seem to think that just cos the baby wasn’t born full term that you are not going to mourn the loss of your child.
Although I know my baby is gone.... I’m having a difficult time knowing I’m going to have to let my baby go. I think my baby was going to be a boy and have decided to call him Noah.

You obviously have never had to deal with addiction yourself or of a loved one. First off, women miscarry all the time and there is no proof it had anything to do with the drugs. She didn't know she was pregnant so how the hell could she choose to use while being pregnant? She didn't know she was pregnant so how could she get prenatal care? She didn't know she was pregnant so how could she get into a program for help which more than likely wasn't available because it's not like she had a job and health insurance!!
Also, she likely was not allowed to discuss the case. She could have easily gotten herself into more trouble if she had taken a lesser plea or other charges. Her sentencing may not even have occurred yet. Some random interviewer has no grounds for confidentiality.

Someone she had confided in reported her to the police and they came and took them all away. Luckily they didn't put in her in jail. But why wasn't she allowed to keep her fetuses? I had lost my baby 5 days b4 the due date, the cord was wrapped around her neck 5 times. Anways the 1st thing the assholes did was ask if id like to wait a week to go in labor or induce. Like seriously who would want to wait a week knowing the baby is dead.

My second child passed away when he was 6 months old from SID. At his viewing and funeral I held him in my arms so tight and he was taken from me to be transported to his grave. I didn’t want to let go! I wanted him to stay in my arms so that I could protect him forever because that’s what a mother does. Everyone complained from the sight of me holding my son because he was dead and they were uncomfortable. How does anyone have a right to judge or be selfish unless you have gone through it?! No one knows what they would do in these situations.

When I had a miscarriage, I took the baby to the hospital with me in a baby food jar (I already had a toddler). The staff at the hospital would not touch the "products of conception" because they were not passed under sterile conditions. I thought they might have been able to figure out why we lost him/her by ... testing or something. Anything. They discarded my baby as trash. When I got home I threw away all of my pregnancy tests, too. I later regretted that because those pregnancy tests were the only things I had left of him/her.

Thank you. I was actually in another country, and their cultural responses took me many years to process. Their cultural aversion to anything unpleasant made it impossible for me to even acknowledge my loss. I just had to pick up and move on with a smile. So... in their beliefs, what I presented to them as a baby was not alive, so it was not important.

It's hard to believe that stuff like that happens but it happened to me with my first miscarriage. Hospital staff were nice but for my regular check up after the miscarriage my Dr said " so you lost it, why are you here" I got out of there crying and never went back to him.
She miscarried a baby and they told her to take it with her, you don’t have the freaking right to judge her for relapsing after that. That was cruel question who wouldn’t want to forget that situation and try to relieve the pain.

Rocky Lynn I'm an ER nurse so i can tell you (and it may depend on state laws, not sure on that) that miscarried babies are treated differently according to their gestational age. Over a certain amount of weeks they are sent to a morgue just like you or I would be, but if they are under that mark the mother can decide what she does with the baby. Most chose to have the hospital dispose of them in my experience, but some also take them home to bury them. That is standard practice, although it can sound creepy to someone who has never been thru it. If that happened to me i would want to bury the baby no matter how small. But, it is the mother's decision to make according to the law in my state and standard medical practice.

However this woman is very clearly lying.
She says she "got clean for tjis baby" and yet she claims she didn't know she was pregnant.
She calls her baby an "it."
She WAS still on drugs. "Carrying it for someone else" is a classic line from addicts caught with drugs.
Any addict could tell you that 1st of all nobody would let someone else carry their drugs. And if somebody was an addict carrying someones drugs, chances are they're gonna do them theirselves. And if you were clean you would be offended at the request of a friend or whoever to hold their drugs.
I don't think she is a monster or anything...or that she did anything intetionally malicious.
But I do think she is a bit on the slow side. Her story is sad but she is not accepting responsibility.

Full term babies are not aborted. That is not true. Abortions are only legal until the baby can survive on its own. Which is 24 weeks from last period, or 22 weeks post conception and ultrasounds are done to ensure this. In RARE cases, they are allowed up to 26/24. That is ONLY when the mothers life is in immediate danger. Please, get tour facts straight instead of allowing the fear mongering to feed you false information. Women get pregnant by a mans orgasm. What the hell reason does she have to lie for? What does it get her? She wasn't convicted of anything for the stillborn fetus. Talking to this reported didn't get her anything or anywhere. All she wants to do is lie? Could you at least pretend to have an ounce of intelligence and make a more reasonable statement? No one just wants to go around and lie. Interesting how some "junkies" have far more intelligence than you. A "junkie" can recover and create a wonderful life for themselves. You'll always be an angry little troll.

Seeing all the positive comments on this video has truly given me a lot of hope that empathy isn't as far gone as I've thought.
I don’t believe she’s a criminal. I just thinks she just needs a therapist and a really close friend. She didn’t know how to cope and I can’t blame her.
Any fool could see this woman didn’t maliciously carry “a fetus” in her bag with malign intent. This MOTHER was in a hard place and doing the best she could to protect HER BABY. Sometimes I thing the law gets in it’s own way, can’t see the forest for the trees type deal. At the end of the day this was her baby and she loved it, that’s clear.

I feel so bad for her... she is completely broken and depressed. Jail is not the right place for her. She could be suicidal; she needs proper care and treatment. I don’t think that being on drugs was the right thing to do, but I do believe that she had to find a way to cope. She was desperate. They should let her free. Losing a child is unimaginably tragic. And the fact that she even named her just tears me apart. I’m not saying I would have done the same thing, but I completely understand her. Everyone pray for this strong woman. We all love you, baby momma. Faith is watching over you.
Okay if my baby died and it was legal I would carry my baby in my purse too. Sorry I know that sounds weird but I carry my father's ashes with me because I miss him so much. Maybe I need help too 😔 this is such a sad story. I would donate money to help this girl get out of jail.

mockingjaye she's not in jail for carrying her 2 inch fetus on her. She's in jail for buying and possessing drugs! She wasn't clean since November. She willing used drugs instead of getting help while she was pregnant. That's why she miscarried. She said it herself, she didn't go live with her grandmother, she choose to live on the street while pregnant. Does that sound like the behavior of someone who is now clean? No it isn't. Miscarriages are sad. Nobody wants that to happen to anyone but this women lied throughout the interview, used drugs and is trying to manipulate people with her story. I hope she gets into rehabilitation and gets clean. Jail won't help her but she's in jail because of her decisions and no one else's.
Why didn't the dam reporters give the whole darn story! I agree she needs help and maybe needs to stay in jail to clean up. NO ONE should have get pregnant if they have a drug addition!

I just want to hug her 💔 She’s been through one of the most traumatic and heartbreaking experiences anyone could go through. I can’t even imagine having a miscarriage let alone being thrown in jail because you want to bury your baby. I hope she gets a chance to have a baby and the life she wants and deserves 💛

Ginger, this is what you get when children grow up without appropriate role models or protection or love. They are so empty inside and have no idea who they are or how to create a meaningful, productive life. She isn't the devil but I agree that drugs certainly makes them an easy target for lower level entities and sometimes demons to influence them and utterly destroy their lives.

Tears! I have been through 3 miscarriages, so I know what she is talking about. You just want to bury your baby in a special place, and in the US, there really isn't a place to bury a fetus. We put ours in our yard and named them. This woman should not be in jail.
