I was about to give almost the same advices😅 I just wanted to add two practice techniques my teacher taught me for those hard parts...they are hard to describe but I'll try because they have helped me so much😅 1. Play the part and accent the first notes of the foursome groups, then again accenting the second notes and so on and slowly increase the speed after each playthrough 2. Play every second note as a dotted one and shorten every other second note (you want to play these as short as possible so that the transition is very fast), next do it the other way round(play the first note short and the second one long) and also slowly increase speed I hope you get what I mean and maybe give it a try, I find especially the second technique very helpful and improve way faster with it than by repeating the part without altering Keep up the great work though, it's always inspiring to see and hear how you've improved so far👏😘
Yeah I realize someone said this before but I made the mistake of not using metronomes but when I did it helped me so much and I think u should use it too. And when using the metronome go slower at first and gradually get faster
Good, but remember to do the staccatos next time. Those are quite important for this piece. Anyway, you gonna do a Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto drop at 1 mil or what? lol
@@hanwang9854 This piece is usually used to teach staccatos for god's sake! If you're playing for the sake of playing or for performing, go ahead and add your own interpretations. But if you're still learning, (and she's obviously still a student, she makes that known) you should really do the staccatos cause this is one of the easier more famous pieces with so many staccatos, so it helps with learning. Interpretations come later, first learn it by the book to master it, lest you wanna end up imbalanced in your playing techniques.
I've been playing for 6 years but have been on a break for almost a year. I'm coming back and I watched one of your progress videos. It amazes me at how far you've come!! You've given me inspiration and hope. Keep up the good work!!
I remember when I learned this song. I never thought I could master it. With much practice I did. And if you practice and have patience this song will be a piece of cake. Enjoy! The violin is an amazing instrument
GREAT JOB! Here are some suggestions: -On staccato passages, move to the lower half of the bow, using shorter bow strokes to get clearer articulation. -Use the accent marks! -Dynamics! -Break each page up into smaller sections, focusing around areas that you regularly struggle with. -Try using different rhythms on the faster passages, again, break them up into smaller sections. -With string crossings - you can use less bow than you think. Just see what is more efficient and comfortable. Hope this helps you out a little bit and KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!
That's because a lot of self learners want to jump into their favorite hard pieces but then have to backtrack eventually to properly practice the basics. Source: did this myself :D
I'm 10 months in to my violin journey and working on this piece. Yeah, those fast parts get my fingers twisted and all out of sync with my bow but it's such a fun piece to play and sounds really great with the piano accompaniment
Expression comes with practice as well, you can't be emotive first being comfortable on the instrument. The end goal of learning learning an instrument, in my mind, is for there to be no technical division between what you imagine and what you play, the masters bear their souls because even their mistakes sound like the successes of the less-practiced.
Y pensar que te vi cuando estabas empezando 🤔 con el tiempo cada ves mejoras, al igual que cada ves que te veo te encuentro mas linda 😍 saludos desde chile 🇨🇱 😁✌🏼
you're great, not because of raw talent but because of hard work, you have so much room to improve but it really shows how far you've come and anyone who has seen your past videos should be proud of your progress, including yourself
i was supposed to be doing hw but i couldn’t help but watch this and i watched the entire 6 minutes without getting bored.. this is so engrossing and inspiring 🥰🥰
Eres una inspiración para mi 😄 compré mi violín hace un par de semanas y cada vez que me frustro veo tus vídeos y tus palabras y sonrisa entregan toda la energía para seguir 💪😍 eres la mejor!
I think you did a really good job on this piece. For the part with the „ugh“-bowing I‘d recommend trying to play it with a higher elbow and also practise the fast parts with a metronome. That’s what helped me a lot when I used to play this piece. Greetings from Germany! 🤗😇
Wow amazing job! Here is some tips to improve your playing: keep the bow fingers together, only spaced by the natural gaps between them, so you don't create unnecessary tension on the hand. Keep a watchfull eye on the strings crossing. Also, note that you're raising the waist, keep your waist in a straight line as you bow, so you can transfer weight from the arm to the string and get a fuller, bigger sound. Imagine that the bow is a a saw and you are sawing the string. Hope I helped a little, keep it up!
Supernice and insightful! I love how you use a tiny violin bow to track the notes! 😀 And good you are showing mistakes, it helps to show the progress, plus it's funny. ☺️
I noticed that you tend to move around more when you feel the music and it makes me happy to see you enjoying it enough to be able to. Keep up the good work! ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Wow, good achievement! I'm still learning violin too. Currently I practice Mazas' douze petit duos, Mozart's der spiegel. Fast part, intonation, shifting, sight reading, rhythm, sixteenth/thirthysecond note... I'm still bad at them 😅
LOL this is great! It brings me memories of teaching! I got A LOT of tips that might help you, and maybe I’ll make a response RUclips video that addresses some of these things, and maybe it’ll help others too!
You keep progressing at an amazing pace…you’re an inspiration to all of us who are far more "noobie" than you! (Also, nice interior design - as I commented before, I have that same IKEA lamp, but it never occurred to me to add a Dratini!)
omg, super duper! you improved a lot! you practice like I practice haha, I wish i'd had the opportunity to know you. i'm teachin myself violin 2 years now. i'm now studying flesh scales along with hrimaly scales to be able to play Antonio Vivaldi: Violin Concerto RV 310, Küchler, Ferdinand opus 15, Seitz, Friedrich Student Concerto No.5, Accolay, Jean Baptiste violin concerto 1 (months of work but i'll find time to dedicate to learning ). I've tried playing vivaldi summer, i've been able to play like you do but it's difficult and time consuming so i'm back at lighter pieces. you're awesome! you sustain bit of dynamics, it's great,! keep it going. I've discovered that exercises like the shonert technique(I bought it) ones to be able to play the master staccato like Heifetz frees the right hand and improves a lot your bowing technique :D. Here's something for you that i've done maybe it helps, good luck! we.tl/t-dyBXlMooUA
Reading comments of pros advising her and stuff while I feel like I am blind not able to understand any of those musical symbols🤔 Anyways I love your character and your hard work. You've improved a lot!!! Keep going, you can do it! You inspire me a lot because I just started taking piano classes🎹🎶

I know some pople that practice hard/weird bowing by practicing only the bowing without fingering in order to get the bow's own rythm if it helps
CORROMPIDO yeah that’s always a challenge for me! Sometimes it helps to put my left hand on the body of the instrument instead of the fingerboard. XD
Also maybe try a slower vibrato it sounds kind of forced and that’s not really the sound quality I think you are looking for
Yeah I realize someone said this before but I made the mistake of not using metronomes but when I did it helped me so much and I think u should use it too. And when using the metronome go slower at first and gradually get faster

she's still learning you don't have to be so brash lol

3:44 Wow! That's actually really good and clean!
I have to say you've improved so much since I last watched your videos!
But I also have to say; violin is not only about the technique

Charming, fun and informative. A winning combination. But I'll have to search back a few years to see if I can play anything you can play, I think!
Oh I’ve played this before!! It’s so fun !
