Modification, in a vice I bent backward, the attachment that holds the fitting and two jam-nuts. That creates a straight line for the cable to the governor arm on my 79cc Predator motor. Otherwise it will run at an angle. Dan.
Awesome guys just the stage i was at - and i was WAY off on my assumption opening the package i thought it went horizontal under the tank 🤣 and a bonus i see where to put the decal you sent me .
Installed the linkage bracket but when I go to pull the handle to start it a grinding noise can be heard. This isn’t from the engine running because it only happens when I’m starting it. Any helpful tips?
I had the same issues and figured out they sent the wrong length bolts for the throttle linkage bracket. They are touching the fly wheel and caused some damage to it. I’m sure you are having the exact same problem.
@@GoPowerSports awesome! Love the build. Just bought your kit and got it hooked up but don’t know if i should upgrade the carb now that my governor is off or keep the original still
Probably not. The MM80 is a clone of a different motor, a Lifan 80, I think. I have been unable to find any upgrade parts (stage 1, etc...) for that motor since Hot Rod Minibike shut down.
@@kevinstott1317 I purchased the frame from Mega Moto, and I’ve been piecing it together with my stepson. At this point we’re planning on using the predator 79cc motor
@@stanlucas665 Sorry, I misunderstood. I have an MM80 and I bet it will work great since the carb on the predator hangs off the side of the motor instead of the back of it, like on a Lifan. A predator 212 fits on that frame, so there should be plenty of room. Good luck on the project! Great memories are made working on these with kids!

The focus in this video makes the Zapruder Film look like HD.
We've upgraded our cameras since this video.
I pulled up this video and had my 9 yr old son put it on himself... Thanks!
Nicely done!

How do you get enough cable so its goes all the way through my 60 inch cable seems to be to short?
Love the informational videos keep it up Go power sports 👍!!!
What main jet did you use after you installed that air filter
I’m new to mini bikes but do you need a carburetor or can I just take the air box off ?
I put the Predator 79cc on to the Monster Moto go kart. Everything I see is for the mini bike, but will this work on the go kart as well.

Did you have to rejet the carb?
We left the jet as is.
Are you guys going to build a big brother to the rascal?
Circle March 1st on the calendar :)

2 questions when well you get your minibike suspension back in stock. And do you have linkage for a predator 212cc
It'll be a few months until the front suspension is back in. And the 212 linkage is on our website, part #26410.
Ok thanks

No worries for anything misunderstood. It’s all good
The throttle Is so difficult to put on I’ve been trying to figure it out for two hours
What length cable did you use on this build. I’m about to place an order for this linkage kit but I’m going to need a cable too. Thanks for the video!
The shortest one available, should be around 44"
link for the exhaust you are using on this?
It was a Build Your Own with a Mini Muffler welded on to it.
