    well done young people. Your independent efforts amount to something really good, and worthwhile. The music is great. Aces High is one of my favourites.
    Keep up the teamwork and discipline.

    A great parade: ten years down the track. I hope that all these young people have found direction and purpose in their careers in the Royal Airforce.

      Joel Olson Luftwaffe March/aces high

    • @hartleymartin
      @hartleymartin 6 лет назад

      It was originally the Luftwaffe March from the move "The Battle of Britain" in 1969. It was published as "Ace's High" in the USA, when it became a popular march tune. The title "Ace's High" was adopted in Europe because there was still a lot of anti-German/anti-Nazi sentiment from people who lived through the Blitz.

    What I want to know is, why are there drummers in the front rank?

    • @richardthelionheart1294
      @richardthelionheart1294 7 лет назад +1

      TheHazLandGaming it's a British youths marching band thing. It like that in every youths band.

    • @hartleymartin
      @hartleymartin 6 лет назад +1

      It comes from British and later Commonwealth Military tradition where the Corps of Drums (which used to include B-flat Flutes or Fifes) would march at the front and the band would follow behind. The exception to this is the Scottish custom of bagpipes leading with drums following.
