Looks like they focusing more on to control inflation than giving tax relief.

This budget is decent or above average, some good schemes of unemployed people and infrastructure development, this budget is also good for our economy and defence sector. The tax is not that high but should be decreased, In 1991 Manmohan Singh increased the tax till 56% for 1 lakh+ salary people.

@@N-zaum7993 Standard deduction increased from 50000 to 75000, LTCG limit increased from 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh which will marginally benefit low to mid income groups.
However, increase in tax slab was expected but it didn't happen. Nevertheless, this budget has something for lower income groups.
Also, BCD in Gold is reduced to 6% from 10% and 1 crore PAID internships are PROMISED, lets see if the target is achieved or not; also how many interns are converted to full time...

Chill guys LTGC TAX 12.5% is EXEMPTED if you use that gain to invest in real estate within 2-3 years.
In addition to it STGC Tax is Also Exempted if it’s below 2.5L (Old Tax Regime) and your income slab is Below 7 Lakhs.
This is why we should research a bit first before doing compulsory criticism of government policies…

Bhai mere, har government school mein teachers kee kamee hai, har government hospital mein doctor aur nurse kee kamee hai, har thaney mein police kee kamee hai, hat court mein judge aur sarkaree wakeel ke kamee hai. Har sarkaree bank mein post office mein line lagnee padhtee hai, 1 crore job sarkaree dey saktee hai agar chaey toh. Waise bhee aaadhee salary tax mein wapas aajatee hai sarkaree key pass.
