Hi, can I just remove the battery all together and operate my MacBook on adapter only?

Thanks for this easy to follow video. I have one problem though, one of the three screws holding down the battery won’t budge. 🙁The other two came out fine but the third in right hand corner does not want to turn. I’m using a tri-lobe screwdriver that came with the replacement battery but no go. I even tried some of my other screwdrivers but that screw just won’t come out.
    What can I do?

When you say let the computer battery drain fully until it shuts down, is it okay to turn it off and on again i.e I basically need to travel with it tomorrow and might need to turn it off and on intermittently

Hello. The other day I replaced a bloated battery in a 17 inch macbook pro mid-2010 (with a newerTech battery), and I'm concerned that I might have done something incorrectly. After booting the computer, the charge was at 50% and it took over two hours to hit 100%. Yesterday I tried calibrating by draining the battery to 0, and it only took 5 hours of basic web browsing. Charging to 100% took 5 hours or more--longer than it took to drain.
When I installed the battery I struggled to put the connector in its slot in between the battery and gard drive. I think that I tore away the plastic part a little from the wires (I could see a couple of the golden tips) by mistake, but it didn't look bad. I can't tell whether I connected the battery correctly though. If I recall, part of the plastic end was still sticking out from under the slot, though removing the connector would require some force. May I have some advice? Have I broken the battery or have I not conmected it correctly?

Hi - I just replaced the battery in my mid-2009 Macbook Pro 17 inch. How long should the new battery take to charge during the first step of the power system calibration? According to the battery info, it says it's going to take 18 hours?!?! Is this correct?! I had to shut the laptop off and restart the process because the new battery wasn't fully charged after 5 hours so that's how I know the remaining time. Is this not good?

Replaced the battery but still won't turn on without the power adapter connected. Any suggestions? Would I need to replace the logic board or the capacitor power supply?

Hello, my name is Kerim and Please help me
    I have a Macbook Pro 17 2010.
It came to me without an HDD but I installed an SSD and I need to install macOS.
The only thing I see is the blinking folder with a [?] mark, I tried every key no change.
I believe it only supports the macOS version up to High Sierra, but I have no experience with Apple.
I mean what should I do, how do I create a bootable macOS flash using Windows, or am I doing it wrong?
If someone could help me that would be great.

use a CD after creating a dmg file from an iso file of the OSX Sierra. Hold off on High Sierra, High Sierra is really for newer macs.
You could also boot the devise into "recovery mode" and install over wifi 9it wil take forever) you will need to register the serial number with Apple and create an apple id.
