me too! it is so much fun and you can set up a stage pretty much anywhere without the regulations that go hand in hand with real firearms. an IPSC shooter from belgium (also a youtuber) started with AIPSC and mentioned in one of his videos that he had a big advantage when he started shooting real steel ipsc in comparison to his friends that started with him, but never touched an airsoft gun before. he is still shooting AIPSC every month because AIPSC stage designs can be build more flexible compared to real steel PS: try to google Action Air IPSC Rules... there is a PDF with the official rules. there are a lot of rules ;-))
@@gl9500 😂 I carry daily, but I'm not going to internex flex to Bruce Willis lol I started out as a kid shooting BB guns.. Then a .22...20 gauge.. Etc. The fundamentals of shooting a BB gun and other guns are the same.. I understand the difference in shooting the two, but shooting a BB gun might be the only thing you can practice with regularly.. And do force on force things that you can't do with live rounds.. Ever heard of Simunitions?.. It's not a competition between the two lol this is as impressive to me as Jerry Miculek.
@@gl9500 That'd be awesome. I love classic colts and S&Ws..I carry a 442... Henry 22 was my first squirrel killer lol I've grown up shooting/hunting and collecting, just never got into competitive shooting. I have no doubt you will out shoot me and I will learn a ton.. Would love to shoot real guns or bb guns next time I ride down your way 👍
@@gl9500 is there a barrel length requirement? I have a 12.5inch upper on a pistol lower at the moment..or could bring my Sar-2.. It's full length but has a side folder, my Canik TP9-sf could work but I can't justify buying a full length shotgun at the moment.. Kind of big for the apartment life lol also I'll need to keep storage in mind since I'll be on my bike.. Maybe I'll see this comment when it gets warm and I can take you up on the offer.. Would probably just be a short transition and having to shoot a little slower for a while. Accuracy has no real connection to recoil :) All the other things he does are harder to learn than managing recoil.
My grandkids would like this. I shoot uspsa....9mm....he's shooting a whopping 7 yards or so. We shoot out to 25 yards. That toy prob can't shoot that far
What is with all you guys in the comments? Many people shoot airsoft. The fundamentals are the same. You have to master fundamentals first. Also, many guys shoot a 4in target at 10 feet. Why? Because it’s the same sight picture as a normal size target at 13 yards (what many pistol competitions shoot). I’m sure the kid from T. rex arms could school half of the wannabes here in the states because of what he does with airsoft. All about the fundamentals guys
I like how he points the gun away from instructors when running towards them
This is one of the most important security principles in practical/dynamic shooting.
you get DQ if you don't do this actually
I came in this video thinking "phhsshh airsoft" but damn, the movement and courses are amazing
Great marksmanship demonstration! Well done!
These exist?? Whattt?? I thought they only have these competitions for real guns. I'm so happy!

Newbie From Philippines 🇵🇭 Newly Subscriber also, your moves are awesome 👏 and shooting skills are great.
Shooting on the move backwards is so damn hard.. This is really impressive man
@@gl9500 and?
@@gl9500 Never said it was the same. Airsoft is good for practicing point shooting/drills. There's a reason mil/Leo train with them

You're a great inspiration. Thanks :-)
Have the targets shoot back and no see through walls to make it more interesting
So its a championship with only 1 shooter the same shooter no one else?

Two very different things. Takes very different skills. But of course it helps to be good at shooting for both :)

I like to see how fast and accurate this dude would be with a real firearm with actual recoil. Bogus!
You'd be surprised, this good muscle memory and dry fire exercises. It'll also help with spending to much money on a box of ammo everytime you shoot.
@@danielgutierrez2683 to each his own I guess.
