After watching your review and demonstration I decided to buy one, and for a first time airbrush user I am very pleased with the results, thanks for a very thorough and informative review
Thank you for viewing and taking the time to leave a comment. It is really appreciated. I'm glad my video was of some help. I was sceptical when we first found this bundle but we did get everything we were promised, as advertised, in one box. I have used both brushes and the compressor many times since and found it to be very satisfactory. As entry level product I would still highly recommend it.
@@StBlazeyModelWorld Just one thing, you said that its not a good idea to run compressor for more than 10mins, how long does it need to rest/cool down beofre more use? thank you, kind regards Simon
@@pigeonguardgames507 It only needs a few minutes rest time. I only advise this because this is obviously a budget unit made, presumably, of lower grade parts. That said, you can get a lot paint sprayed in 10 minutes and the rest time allows what have you done to dry anyway so it is no big issue
@@pigeonguardgames507 I do have more expensive and hopefully better gear for spraying but this item has served me well for 3 years now. Technology moves on and gets, generally, cheaper. I do not think there is anything to fear from an entry level airgun system right now
I have a couple of Iwata brushes which are very good but you pay top dollar for them. I really thought the kit I reviewed was a good entry level. Just take time to get used to it
It does do that yes, or at least this version of this type did. It fired back up to maintain pressure as required. Many thanks for viewing and leaving a comment/question :)
Hello there, I think the set is about 2 and a half years old now...at least. Still in regular use with me. I do have more expensive airbrush kit but the system reviewed is still in use for general work like priming and applying scenic colour tones. I did recently re-spray a loco body with it and it performed really well. As a starter set or if you are new to airbrushing I see nothing wrong in the cheaper options that out there and if upgrading when experience comes if need be.
Hi (I'm not sure that you have "confessed" to having a name!). You didn't say in your videos why there were two airbrushes in the kit (I presume because they have different size needles/nozzles, the first for fine detail work and the second for larger areas). In the first video you basically said buying too cheap wasn't a good idea and in this video that this kit would be OK for beginners. But, how soon would a beginner start to look for a better airbrush?
Good point! I can only apologise if my video sends out a mixed message. My reasoning behind it was that even beginners will turn to RUclips and discover all kinds of things and airbrushes would be one of those. Buying 'cheap' generally is not a great idea. As for the kit, I thought it was worth looking at, hence the video
I think somebody else left a similar comment but it is an old video now. On the one I have the pipe is a screw thread at each end, compressor and gun, like a car tyre valve
Firstly thanks for viewing. I have several airbrushes but none of them are of that make. It could be worth contacting that maker to see if sell adaptors.
You are quite correct my friend. That is an old video and also one the first I made for my channel so I probably looked a complete idiot. Some would say that I still am lol For what it is worth I am still have and use all that kit despite upgrading along the way to better equipment. Thank you for viewing and taking the time to leave a helpful comment.
So why review both guns with your pressure too high, your paint too thin, or indeed both. What you've actually video'd is not a true reflection of what each gun's capabilities may be but more a case of how NOT to run an airbrush.
Hi, thank you for your viewing and taking the time to leave a comment. That was one of my earliest videos and I may well be doing it differently if I remade it now. Where I live we have no Wifi so even a 10 minute video takes days to upload. I wanted to show viewers what you get and that what you get is what you paid for. It was never supposed to be an airbrush tutorial video.
Part 2 of the low cost Airbrush/Compressor kit.....how is it shaping up?
After watching your review and demonstration I decided to buy one, and for a first time airbrush user I am very pleased with the results, thanks for a very thorough and informative review
Glad I could help! I own others but I have used this set up quite a lot since purchasing it and am very pleased with how well it performs.
Thanks for the uploads my friend. You've brought a lot more clarity to the queries I have about my Switzwer Kit.

Very useful!… thanks for your review it’s certainly helped!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for reviews, both parts 👍 very Helpful. Just got one for b’day present as start of my venture into airbrushing 😀
Liked and subscribed
Glad I could help! Thanks for viewing, lots more great stuff on the way soon. New release tonight at 6pm UK time
Very helpful review, both videos, cheers.
Glad it was helpful!
Have been playing with mine and I'm very pleased.
Have been priming some wheels for a 1/16 scale Tiger tank and the finish is very good

Does the compressor turn off when at the desired pressure?

Does the moisture capture screw off?? I can't seem to get it off.
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. I have checked on the one I have and it does seem to unscrew away completely
Can it be used on trainers footwear
No idea to be honest. i am a scale model making channel. I guess you would need to use a paint that flexes
Getting one of these soon, but have had a few worries about it and this video cleared them up. If you still check this how are they holding up?

I can’t figure out how to attach the pipe to the bloody gun 😂
I think somebody else left a similar comment but it is an old video now. On the one I have the pipe is a screw thread at each end, compressor and gun, like a car tyre valve
How could I connect a badger airbrush to this? As the connector doesn’t fit to the badger?
Thanks

Hi there DJ, I meant to add that the kit I reviewed did come with 2 airbrushes supplied:
Video 7 on my channel
you buy a adaptor to screw on the airbrush so a standard 1/8 air hose fitting will screw on to the airbrush
@@M0NXF Thanks, I done that and bought a kit off eBay and it works perfect 👍
Airbrush Pro. Co. Uk sell the adapters for badger, couple of quid they are
The spraying pressure is too great and is causing the spidering of the paint. It needs to be reduced with the paint thinned as much as you have done.

Yes totally agree the pressure is far too high.🐻🐵☺️👍
