    Bro I reside in Canada and we have a completely free healthcare working or not. However Justin is correct in the USA healthcare costs tons of money. I have a millionaire colleague who lives in Virginia Beach and I remember while back when he was playing golf he hurt his ankle not sure if it's broken or chipped. This guy is a millionaire man just go to the doctor and get it checked out. This guy didn't go to the doctor for the entire week thinking it will cure by itself and this guy was in pain too for the entire week, we kept telling him go go. He did finally and I didn't ask how much it cost but he didn't go in first place because he sensed it would cost couple of thousands of dollars at least and didn't want to pay it.

    • @lisabelle7553
      @lisabelle7553 3 года назад +2

      It is not completely free in Canada. Each province has its own health insurance. If you are working it’s based on your income. I was in a high tax bracket and I paid more for just me than people who made less paid for their whole family. So it’s not ‘completely free’, but it’s very low priced government subsidized coverage. It’s free if you’re retired, or on welfare, or make less than a certain income. But it’s still amazing compared to the US, but not as good as Turkey’s health system.

    Healthcare in the US is effectively free for 65 and above (it's called Medicare). For younger people, you need to pay to have healthcare. These monthly premiums can be hundreds of dollars monthly, but if you have them, your open heart surgery will not cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The insurer will pay most of it. It's still very expensive, but not what you are thinking. You do get very high quality and very quick healthcare for that high cost as well. I still prefer universal healthcare though.

      @@hurguler he wasn't giving the wrong information. Just assume that someone didn't had the healthcare insurance in USA than that person is screwed this what he was saying. By the way from state to state it will different but one of my American colleague I don't know where he is located which I can find out he told me that last month he had a bill for over a thousand dollars. I already know not everyone can afford healthcare in USA special at the time of Obama. As far as I know during Trump time the healthcare was affordable.
      In another words healthcare in Turkey kicks ass vs USA. Sorry but it's true. I know Americans with dual citizenship who stayed in Turkiye during this pamdemic and admited that because of healthcare. Sad but true.

      @@NotTooExtreme you are definitely being provided some misleading information. Yes, even with insurance, healthcare is expensive and can easily run into thousands of dollars. Contrary to what you've been told, however, it was Obama who put in place the affordable care act, which greatly expanded medical coverage to more people. Trump was trying to repeal the act, which would have made healthcare out of reach for a lot of people. Thankfully Trump failed.

Most likely it is free for all because when someone works in the family and the employer pays for the healthcare insurance for that worker automatically the whole family is covered under the healthcare insurance. I don't think "Free" is a correct term that should be used in reference to healthcare. Nothing is free in this world, and neither should healthcare be, someone is paying for it. That being said, as a U.S. healthcare professional, I am absolutely shocked at astronomical costs and inefficiencies of U.S. healthcare system. The opposite side of that spectrum is a socialized medicine that never works as it puts bureaucrats in charge of making decisions rather than patients themselves. If Turkish private and state healthcare systems are on par, then it is great news, an indication of free market - something we don't have in the U.S.

    Americans don't pay 100k to 150k for heart procedure out of pocket. Health insurance does. If you don't have health insurance you may get financial aid. If you're a foreigner and don't have health insurance they will bill you for the cost. Sure health insurance can get very complex here but it's not bad like that dude said. He was very misleading. What's his motivation? To sell property in Turkey and to make Turkey more attractive. I am all for that but please don't give misinformation about the US. To this day America has the best health care system in the world. I live in Boston, Mass and we have some of the best hospitals in the world.

If you're a foreigner and don't have health insurance they will bill you for the cost.'' You are talking about somebody's health and an operation he/she has to take to stay alive. Yet you are talking about you pay it this way or that way. Don't you understand that Healthcare is a universal right and it should be available to everyone in need. It has nothing to do with selling houses. It is a reality. You say you live in the U.S? If the health care system is as you say it is and everyone is ok with it then why do you have people protesting on the streets? Have you seen such protests in Turkey? No! because guess what among all the wrongs that's one of the very few rights that the country is doing. We're not saying the heal care in America is bad. We're just saying that it's not affordable to everyone. And the Turkish health care system is both good and afordable. That's the point.
