Tüm bu etkilere rağmen o güçlü kuralları dilimizi hâlâ ayakta tutmakta.

I taught Turkish to non-natives. I must confess it is not an easy language to learn for someone from a non Turkic speaking country. Suffixes added one another makes it incredibly hard and also there are many exceptions to some grammatical rules. I personally witnessed from my students that one can easily acquire enough Turkish in just a few months in a Turkish speaking environment and in one year you will be very fluent as the Turks will be happy to help you.
Seriously?! Well im marrying a turkish man and he wants me to speak english so he can improve his english but he also wants me to learn turkish!!! How odd is that😯🙄😄
Agreed and I must add that the language is DIFFERENT from Indo-European Languages (so it will be relatively difficult) and the learning material is not as good and profound as it is for English or other Western Languages. However, Turkish is the EASIEST of all ASIAN Languages, and when you understand the logic, it is actually very simple (not necessarily easy though). Again, the problem is not the language but the lack of good learning materials and only a few people who speak both English and Turkish well.

Soylediklerinin hepsi INFORMAL kullanima giriyor.
Whilst I know plenty of vocabulary words, the biggest difficulty with me is definitely grammar. Things are pretty hard because of where I am at, but I want to keep going with learning Turkish.
Ive been watching turkish series foe over 2 years and learning the language more and more. They have their own words but also many borrowed Persian/ Farsi and Arabic words. There are words I had forgotten in Farsi that they use depending on the generation speaking.

2:15 by the way I didn’t hear any mistakes from her usage of suffixes. So she speaks a very advanced Turkish even though she says that she has lots of trouble. I think the key to learn suffixes is to understand the sound harmony in Turkish. After that everything is very formalized and there is no exception almost (except some foreign rooted words). But even if you make mistakes, it won’t matter much for a native turkish speaker. We are used to hear turkish spoken in many different ways. So the ones who try to learn turkish, please don’t get discourage and speak with a native speaker without hesitation or fear of getting judged thinking how bad you speak. Usually native turkish speakers are happy to help when they hear foreigners trying to speak the language and don’t judge the level of their fluency.

Today, I started learning Turkish language by watching videos on RUclips. Ertugrul TV series introduces me to Turkey’s culture and I fell inlove with it. How I wish someone could help me out. 😅
