- It has been 8 years since the release of Garden Warfare 2, and console players (specifically PS4 and PS5 in this instance) aren't the biggest fan of the game's default field of view, 70. They search online, and stumble upon this video, teaching them how to increase their field of view on ps4/ps5 gw2.

I should have mentioned this earlier but if at anytime, the PS Bot ever goes offline, there is another discord server that hosts a similar bot.
In the server, go to the #ps4-save-bot-3-htos-channel (underneath the SAVE MODDING & BOTS category) and create a thread with the CL4P-TP HToS Bot. This bot has similar commands to that in PS Bot

Yo can you please make a tutorial for bfn 120 fov because its confusing doing it conpared to this one, i couldnt drag the data file from PROFILESAVE to HxD

So Ive tried doing this myself, but I cant seem to get it to work. Ive done all the steps from start to finish the same way the video showed how to do it, but nothing. Im not sure how to get this to work. Do you think you can help me out?

for the file transfer part when i go to drag in the sce_sys files and hit enter, it says an unexpected error has occurred. I've done all the steps multiple times and i'm following the video exactly. Is this happening for anyone else?

I did everything correctly, but as soon as I launch GW2 on PS4, the game crashes
Thankfully I backed up my save before tampering with it so I was able to restore it and stop it from crashing but this didn’t work for me
If the game is crashing then you probably did something wrong. Only thing I might know what you could have done wrong is that you forgot to put a decimal when replacing 70 with a number higher than 100,
In the hxd example, I replace 70.000000
With 120.00000 (Notice how I had to sacrifice one of the zeros in the decimals place to get a three digit number as my field of view)
You see i did not backup (i know very dum) and not i cant start the game. i did everything that i did again but not put it back on 70 and is still gets the error and i cant play it. Pls help :(
You can always delete the save and GW2 will generate a new one for you. If you are STILL crashing, then that is on your end.

As of now, no. GW2's save on console for PS4 (and presumably XBOX) is just a heavily toned down version of the PROF_SAVE_profile, the save data for GW2 PC located in
C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\Plants vs Zombies GW2\settings

Oh yeah we could finally be able to change the render resolution so the console versions actually look good if it's possible to add the setting into the file. It looks pretty much like the PC one.
As a question: Is this possible to do outside of Discord? And is there anything else in the files that you can edit that is meaningful?
The reason the bot is needed is because it sends over your saves to an already jailbroken PS4 that will be able to decrypt and encrypt saves and spit your decrypted/encrypted save back to you.

As of now, no. Microsoft learned from their mistake of allowing users to copy and replace saves onto USB, as you could easily modify the save with existing tools and just chuck it back into your 360.

Basically on sea of thieves people used cheat engine to save the configuration 120 fov and it saved and transferred over to xbox the only issue is that its linked to xbox maybe that is possible with pvz but I don't think pvz is linked to the point where settings change
