Let’s hope Sony doesn’t treat this as a potential ban scheme (I mean it shouldn’t, editing FOV is personal preference, but given that it’s on console where you normally do not have access to the files without specific tools)
The only thing I could think of would be the fact that the bot is using a jail broken PS4 to decrypt the file

Why do i gotta do allat. Does it not work to just grab the save file to a pc and then go in there and change the fov and put the save data back into the ps4 just like on a pc.
The PC one has a very easy to edit file for options including FOV. The save data file on console is encrypted and the way console saves work are completely different to PC.

Dw I figured out why. U need to put that file into ur desktop to extract it
So just move it onto the desktop and it will work? Another thing I’m unsure about on if it’s a problem is that I don’t have data.bak like at all. I know you don’t need it but when it worked the first time I had it and it worked I got 90 but then I went back bc I wanted 95 and it didn’t show up.

I play on playstation 4, and you need ps+ to play online. Is there any consoles where you dont need to pay to play online? I used to play online cuz my brother had ps+ and he was the primary acc, but it was only for a year. If anyone knows anything pls let me know lmao.

Okay, for any of those with 70 fov still even when you put the right hex code, you need to delete your PVZ GW2 save data, and run the game again to get those normal non-tinkered settings you have, this WILL NOT erase all your save game and characters and ranks n whatnot, i had an issue where instead of 5 zeros i had only three, so make sure you delete your save file first and re-open the game for a normal save, then you can back it up to your usb and follow the tutorial! :D
This can also fix any other issue after you tinkered with your save as well, so don't worry about losing your game!
