Today was laundry, got the car off for a repair and quick clean of both bathrooms. watching you makes me realize how many steps there are in each task,
Hi Karen! So glad your cats are doing better🙏My word of the year is declutter ! 🎉 So proud of you for all you do. Your like Super Woman ! May God Bless you and your Family ❤
So glad Leo is feeling better and Woozi’s sore spot healed. Leo looks so bright in this video, his eyes look clear and so much happier. I’d give him the island bench if it were me 😂
There’s just my hubby & me here but I buy family packs of all my meat and process it just like you do. It’s so convenient to pull out just the right amount out of the freezer. The chicken breasts are indeed huge these days so one is enough for both of us. We are eating smaller portions these days so I cut the breasts in half lengthwise and pound them to 1/4 inch & sauté in a little olive oil & use a variety of seasoning. With a cooked green veggie & a salad this is a very low-carb meal.
Karen, I think your bedroom is looking so neat now you’ve reorganised. So, I agree with you that prioritising organisation is gonna be something that will be key for you this year. Whether you do this because there is more of you living at home, in preparation for Ivon’s baby or ready for your potential future move; being committed to focussing on this will I think be of real benefit to you. My advice if you are thinking of your move is to go through everything saying to yourself and encouraging the others in your household to say: “If we are moving would we take these things with us”. By the way, you are right in what you say about time being difficult to manage because of everyday tasks getting in the way. That is when a time management planner can really help. Also, maybe having set hours in which everyone can prepare, eat food and clear up dishes during the day. An example Breakfast 7-9, lunch 12-2 and Dinner 5-7. This could of course be flexible, but this means there are definite times in between when the kitchen is clear of people so other jobs can get done in that space. Regards spending money, I find that people waste money on endless little things and then justify their purchases by saying “oh but these things were only a couple of £/$. However, if they counted up how many times a week or month they did that, they’d realise it’s the constant little amounts that end up being the most costly over time, rather than the bigger ticket spends. Anyway, glad Woozy is all better and that Leo is feeling more himself and eating again.
😉 If you think positively every single day, work hard, strive to be the best version of yourself, surround yourself with inspirational people and never give up, then there are no limits to how exhausted you can become... (Svend Brinkman) When I hear new years resolutions, this is what comes to my mind. 😊 Thank you for the Leo update. It was so wonderful to see him supervice you again .❤
My absolutes are showering, empty dishwasher and load any dirty dishes, and a load of laundry. My bedroom is upstairs and I don’t go up there during the day…so I never make it. Plus I get up before my husband and am downstairs already. Good for you that bed making is an absolute for you, especially because you see it when you’re editing. It does make the room look so tidy.
I love the grandma bag. Our grands are 4 hours from us and we try to see them every 4 or 5 weeks. I have an old picnic basket, my "Grandma basket". I pack a book, a small toy, a couple outfits for each of them and, of course, chocolate cookies!! I also got diapers when they were younger. It is so much fun to watch them unpack it.
Yaaay, glad Woozy and Leo are on the mend. Yes, I absolutely sniff test things before using them/putting them in the freezer. By the way, that color green looks amazing on you--compliments your skin and makes your eyes "pop"!
Post office/ Pharmacy/ Amazon returns lots of errands got done today!!! I want everything gone, organized and cleaned! Thanks for the motivation! Leo is so handsome, glad he and whoozie are feeling better.
Happy new year. I guess my one thing right now is to Declutter and box up my holiday decor and replace it with my winter decor. But, New Year’s resolutions are tough so my girlfriend Cindy and I have decided that we’re gonna do a fun talent. We plan to visit 25 new restaurants in 2025 that we haven’t been to. We live in Illinois so there’s quite a few we’ve already gotten on our list. We may even have a couple of girlfriends coming with to do the challenge. We already did number one last night at an amazing pizza pub in ORLAND PARK Illinois.
#1 is making it to the gym tomorrow, the roads are clear now. then a food bank drop on the way home. I have been working inside nonstop since trapped by weather, so ahead on chores.
My yearly theme is "Unfurl". I've been working on discovering and building a foundation and growing, but I want to stretch out like a flower in the sun or unfurl like a sail on a sailing ship and go where I need to go this year.
I’ve talked my husband into decluttering the garage I’m scared. He hasn’t even unpacked boxes that have been in there for 5years when we moved in. Oh did I mention he doesn’t like to let go of anything. I have to tell him I don’t have anymore room in his closet to hang his clothes before he goes through that. Wish me luck!!! 😂
I have to be organized, or I get frustrated with losing things or things going to waste. And I hate wasting time trying to find something. Looking forward to more basement happenings.
I definitely do have the decluttering and organizing itch. I’m having a bit of a hard time getting going but did declutter one easy drawer today. Every little bit counts, right? 😊
I LOVE declutterring and organizing ALL year long! But I’m preparing to move in the next few months SO I’m doing the serious purge to make packing easier!
My time wasters are unfortunately watching RUclips videos. I get up around 9 and watch videos until 12 and then I try to rush to get housework done. But, this week I’ve been trying to fight something that is making me feel icky. Every time I turn around lately I’m sick with something and the worst part is that I’m not sick enough for a doctor visit so I’m taking something at home. But, I am trying to get a little at a time done
Yes make food clean up -dust vacuum- rinse and repeat- I have ways budgeted the money - even though it takes considerable time I track every penny- if something is too much - nope
I’m glad your cats are feeling better. I heard cats don’t like aluminum foil. Maybe it you put it on the island he’ll learn to not go on there. Just a suggestion. Love the videos and inspiration
My word 2025 is quality. I have all worldly goods I could ever need. I have family and friends. So my intention this year is to enjoy the guality of it all.
Happy New Year from the Netherlands ❤. Fridaymorning is my day of the operation.Ovariancanser and ofcourse I am afraid. Please I need your prayers.❤❤❤❤
@geertje188 I pray in Jesu name that the operation is successful, that they remove everything. That the recovery is uncomplicated and fast, and that you will be filled with God's peace.
A Grammy bag would be fun, I think..they would look forward to what's in Grammy's bag...I'm glad you spoke of all the toys and equipment you have stored for them in your basement because I keep thinking they do not need to have everything when they come there. It's okay for it to be different from home. It's not your responsibility to provide all of that for them...
I definitely do have the decluttering and organizing itch. I’m having a bit of a hard time getting going but did declutter one easy drawer today. Every little bit counts, right? 😊
Awww Leo was so eager to resume his supervisor duties! I'm glad to hear that both cats are doing better.
I am so glad that Leo is starting to feel better I have been worried about the little guy.

I totally agree.....January is reset time and a good time to declutter.

Stuffed bellpeppers is really good. It would suite your diet. For the family you mix in uncooked rice in the stuffing.
That green is definity your color!
So glad Leo and Woozy are better❤😻.
A Ta Da list is great!
Thanks for a great video.
Take care ❤
