    Keep comparing armored core to "other from software games from the last decade" is a bit ignorant. Armored core is a series with long history and lore, not simply be dismissed as "not as good as souls-like games "

    • @DragonHeart613
      @DragonHeart613 Год назад +9

      Yeah it was indeed very short-minded of this reviewer to consistently compare AC6 to FS's Soulsborne games when FS themselves have repeatedly said that AC6 would not be a Soulsborne game but would be its own unique type of game which it is. Clearly this reviewer didn't get the memo.

    • @youarelolls
      @youarelolls Год назад +8

      I agree - this was a really disappointing review. Say it louder for everyone: AC6 isn't and wasn't meant to be a futuristic soulsborne game.

    • @klebyell
      @klebyell Год назад +1

      @youarelolls I don't think he actually compared them in the way your suggesting. More suggested this doesn't really live up to the same level as the work they've put out in the last ten years. Which is all soulsborne. Also comparing difficulty levels of the two is more than fair when that's what studio has been synonymous with and many who aren't familiar with armoured core are likely expecting.

    This might just be Push Square's worst review ever. The reviewer multiple times compares Armored Core 6 to From Software's Soulsborne games which is just stupid. AC6 is a completely different type of game & genre from all of FS's Soulsborne games. Rather than review AC6 on its own merits, the reviewer just compares it to the developer's previous games which are stylistically all-too different than AC6.
    This guy undoubtedly was expecting AC6 to be a Soulsborne game similar to the likes of Dark Souls & Elden Ring despite the fact that FS themselves have stated multiple times that AC6 would not be a Soulsborne game.

      Compared to other fromsoft games: souls-series, sekiro, Bloodborne, Elden ring, ac6 just isn’t even close to comparable to the quality those other games had. Boring bland level design, repetitive missions rushing through the level, nothing particular memorable at all.

    Hmmmm, this feels quite rushed guys, pervious Armored Core games are known for having hidden special weapons/body-parts which require searching and exploring the different missions for them, also they had branching missions or alternative endings in previous Armored Core games, the fact you don't bring up any of that or mention it at all makes it seem that you:-
    A.Never played any of the older games or bothered to research them.
    B.Rushed through the game to make the review as quickly as possible and as a result missed out on the hidden content (because I see no reason FromSoftware would drop a tradition that's not just found in their Armored Core games but also in their Dark Souls series all of sudden, hidden items and alternative endings have always been part of Fromsoftware games)!!!!!

    Miyazaki (and team) started work on Elden Ring in 2017/18, shortly after DS3 had its last DLC launch (the ringed city).
    Yamamura would have started work on Armored Core VI : FoR after the launch of Sekiro in 2019/20.
    They're completely separate seires made by different people at the same company. Im sure they have flexible staff that help where its needed in the various departments, but the core team and lead decision makers are separate entities, as are the IPs.
