Hey y'all - I'm writing to you from COVID Isolation, but I was able to film this french provincial furniture makeover back in June when I was COVID-free! This was a special piece -- my neighbor had offered it to me back in late winter but I had a bunch of pieces in the queue. Instead, another neighbor took it to upgrade her daughter's bedroom! When their family moved out of the apartment complex recently, it was re-offered to me. I've always loved seeing french provincial furniture makeovers but haven't had the chance to try one for myself yet.
In this video, I try my hand at a classic glam french provincial furniture makeover and update it as best I can!
Let me know in the comments what you think I should list this for. Thanks for watching!

My mom painted one very similar to this in the 60s when I was a little girl. Seeing this was nostalgic ❤️
Aw, that's so sweet becky!
Aw Clara it's beautiful. I'm a total sucker for French Provincial. The feet on her are beautiful and the gold shows them off. Such a great job. Well done. I'm away off to find your hack for attaching a sander to a vacuum now. Have a room to sand soon! Thanks a million.
Hehe! That's awesome Emer! And thank you :)
This is beautiful. This is what I think French provincial should look like.🌸
What a sweet comment! Thank you Deborah!
I am happy to see I am not the only one who paints their fingers! Enjoy your videos.

You are so welcome! Thank you :)
I absolutely Love how you Painted this French Provincial Tallboy .. Absolutely gorgeous ..These Are VERY Popular In Every Area So I would Definitely List About 400-450 ....
You can ALWAYS go down in Price But Not Up ..So I'd DEFINITELY Start Out on higher end ..Plus MOST French Provincials Are Plastic and Laminate and Even those Sell on A higher end "Unfinished"...and yours Is wood and Veneer(wood) and Have all the Hardware original to It's style and piece ..And You Made this Old Gal Glamorous and beautiful With Simple timeless White and gold ..I'm so Happy to see you Back honey..You're awesome 🥰❣️👍
Aw thank you so much, Debra
@@KnowCanDo you're awesome honey and I love when you do your furniture Flips,❣️🥰
Have you people gone furniture shopping lately ???
I work at a furniture store and crappy fake wood is selling for no less than $700
Love dawn power wash for cleaning. 😍 it really gets rhe oils
Yes it does!
In my area, central Arkansas, I would start at 475! However, I feel the need to say, French Provincial is the term after you painted it, wood finished in the previous way was called French Country.
Perfect -- thanks for the info!
I love your low key vibe, thank you
That’s what that gold is called. I have been trying to look for something like that.
Love your voice!!
Beautiful!!!
Great job
Thank you Tina!

Thank you Mel!!
How gorgeous! Why not ask $950-ish?
That’s so sweet, Eve! I’ve never gotten more than $400 for a piece so I probably need to aim lower in my area but thank you for believing!
@@KnowCanDo I looked at some classic French Provincial dressers on eBay and other sites and my suggested price is actually lower than some of the ones I looked at, and yours is in their league. Good luck!
@@evepaludan7713 totally! If I could ship I would be able to get much better prices but I haven’t tried shipping yet!!!
900. You can always go lower but you gotta start prizing your talent time and sweat
And does anybody has the same work as you
Love it. I would list it for $350.
Thanks for the comment Eila!!!
I work at a furniture store and this should sell for no less than $700
@@michelezvoch1924 If it were new in a store and you had the time to wait for the right buyer, YES it would go for more. Here in Portland Oregon area on Facebook Market, Not so much.
List for $300+ !!!!
I couldn't even watch this to the end.. yikes!!!
