What a transformation sweet girl!!! I was so happy to see a video from you, i've enjoyed all your furniture flips/techniques so very much, but this dresser came out absolutely stunning!! A job well done!!
Thank you so much!! 💚
I feel like I needed to see your video today; it gave me the "giddy-up" I needed to push through on an issue I'm dealing with. I am also grateful that these romantic pieces are again making a come-back. I have curved tiger oak pieces with serpentine mirrors that were found in the dump by a good friend's grandfather during the Depression (that she blessed me with!) which I have enjoyed for many years. May your friend also enjoy many years of the labor of love you presented her with! 🥰
I bet your furniture piece is stunning! What a great find!
Loved the last bit of gilding and your restraint to stop when it was just enough. What a transformation!
💚💚💚
love the color it makes the design pop. your attention to detail really shows in the lovely pieces you make
Thank you so much for the kind words ❤️
Sab! I felt so bad for you! That was a very difficult job to do. But once again YOU prevailed! So I know how you got discouraged, but you are such a talented ARTIST, that you just can't stop! The world needs you to make it beautiful again! I have so much respect for you! Keep up with the Awesome work!
Thank you so much for the kind words Mark!
Wow Sab!! So Happy that you did not give up on this Beauty!! Loving that green (fav color) & the transfer with the gold accents!!❤

Over the top awesome! Wow, all your hard work paid off big time! Absolutely gorgeous 🥰

I think the golf really makes it look beautiful
Thank you 💚💛
The way we gasped at the finish product! It turned out beautifully 😍😍😍
Oh thank you!
Beautifully reimagined! Congratulations!!
Thank you very much!
That is truly amazing. The amount of work you did just to prep for paint is unbelievable.
Thank you ❤️
Amazing transformation. You are so talented.
Thank you so much!
Reminds me of a Navy dress blues…love it!
❤️❤️❤️
Oh wow, you are a really good friend, that looked like a nightmare. But, in the end look at the beautiful piece it turned out to be. Love the color combos with the added transfer and the inside of the drawer sides. Well done sabrina!
Thank you so much 🤗
Labor of love (or just labor lol) but that furniture transformation was over and beyond what anyone could wish for. Very beautiful Well done!

Very nice. You have the patience of a god.
I am definitely going to show my husband this comment to prove to him I DO have patience, just not with him 🤣
Just WOW!
Wow! Love it!
Glad you like it!
gorgeous!!!
Thanks ☺️
Beautiful!!!!
Thanks!
You are such a perfectionist.beautiful.👍
Thank you so much 😀
Superb!
Thanks a lot!
Oh my this was bad. Crackle paint has glue in it. You pulled it off tho. Its beautiful!
Oh thank you!
I just redid a set of FP nightstands. Not the original matched one had an extra think antiqued coat. Just the damn gold white is hard enough to get off. I'm done with this style if it's already painted.
For real! It is so much extra work when they are already painted!
@@SabsRehabs forever work
Talk about breaking you I don't do furniture but I did my son's guitar it took me 3 weeks it had layers of the original paint then he primed added some kind of special glitter paint then forgot about it after all the hard work of repainting I did use Annie Sloan but that darn guitar broke me I literally had to use a wrist brace NEVER AGAIN 😂😂😂 this piece looks fabulous 😊
Oh man! That sounds like an ordeal! Why are projects like this somehow the worst and best work we have done? Lol
@@SabsRehabs I think we keep going cause 1 stubbornness!! this piece is not going to win. 2 I will make it beautiful again. Ps I sure did your signature trademark Buff it!! 😂😂
@@oreobenavidez953 🤣💯
Lovely
🥰🥰🥰
That is amazing. What do you charge to strip and refinish a piece like that??❤
$400
What sander and sanding pad did you use at the end of stripping dresser
I have a SurfPrep sander and I used a 120 grit sanding screen on the flat parts and a foam abrasive pad for the curvey parts
Nice! Love the colors used! Thanks
Thank you ❤️
Magnifique.vous vendez?
C'était une pièce de commission
Put on the stripper and place a piece of saran ( cling wrap plastic ) on it.Don' paint it please😢😢😢.A nice light tan wash and then seal.Done.Never give in or up.Spend 15 mins daily. Its then done in a week or 2😂
I don't buy painted furniture to refinish any more for just this reason. I understand you didn't plan this, just commiserating.
Yah it was awful! Recommend 0/10 🤣
I'm so glad you didn't give up!!! It turned out beautifully Sabrina!!!
Thank you so much!!
Absolutely amazing transformation!
Thank you so much!
Truly a great transformation! Beautiful.
Thank you! ❤️
You are a trooper girl and have conviction! Bravo buon lavoro 🇮🇹🇨🇦
Thank you! ❤️
Glad that you persevered as the final look of the piece is gorgeous!
Thank you ❤️
👀🍿
Hey! Thanks for watching!
Oh my goodness that’s just so pretty!! I can absolutely see why you were so over it by the time you got to the finished piece 😣 I’ve been there! Thank goodness you stuck it out because you are just way too good at what you do 😊❤️❤️
Thank you so much! ❤️
13:48 wire brushes worked miracles. Love the gold building wax on the handles.
Oh wow Sab, you absolutely transformed this piece!! Well done for not giving up and persevering…I’m sure if these drawers could thank you, they would! 😍👏🤩
Thank you ❤️ 😊 💓
So good! It took days for me to remove a crackle finish off the tops of 2 nightstands. I thought "How hard could it be to do just the tops?" Stripper (2 types), carbide scrapers, tons of sandpaper to get it back to plain old pine. I agree, never again!
It’s most definitely a showpiece. You are apparently a good friend.lol. Enjoyed watching the transformation. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much 🤗
Now, that was a great transformation. The uglier it is at the begining the better for a great flip. I know it takes longer to do and more work but the results are soooo satisfying. You are a miracle worker. Nice.
Thank you so much!
Oh, i really like this, beautiful color, beautiful decoupage,
Thank you 💚
See I think I’m strange, I LOVE the stripping process and am pedantic about getting it all out/off. I like the doing up process too just not as much. Maybe I should offer stripping alone to furniture artists? 😂😂😂. This is worth all your effort - stunning! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haha! You would probably get some clients doing that! I don't mind the process, it is the cost of the product now. 1 gallon of stripper is $70 in my area. I refuse to pay that.
I’m usually not a fan of painting furniture, but I can understand the logic behind painting this piece. The veneer repairs would’ve been worse than removing that 🤬 paint!
I absolutely LOVE the guilding wax! I actually squealed with joy when you used it on the stencil, and the hardware and trim just followed logically afterwards. The decoupage design is such a great match for the paint colors you chose.
Thank you so much! 💚
What an amazing transformation. From a very ugly duckling to the belle of the ball. She is goegeous!
Thank you for the compliment! ❤️
Try Rustins Cellulose Thinners this will take off anything. Apply it with steel wool and wear gloves and a mask
Awesome! Thank you!
Very pretty!
Sorry but I laughed a couple times while you were struggeling w/ this piece. The end result is beautiful!
I laughed myself, at miserable situation. It's the only thing you can do 🤣
Have you ever thought about testing for lead paint first on something like this? Might want to, just to be safe!!
I do when I feel the need to
😍Beautiful work‼️ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 From 🇧🇷
Thank you! 😊
Three weeks of removal! 🤯 I hope you had some good audio books!
I did! 🤣
If a primer was used before crackle paint, would that be easier to take off?
It was, and no it didn't make it easier to take off 😌
Very warm, woodsy feeling.
Yes it is! Thank you!
Lovely work a pleasure to watch 💚
Many thanks
Love love love awesome job
Thank you!
This is a dream (after the nightmare)!
❤️❤️❤️
wow, looks really nice. You did a great job on that awful looking piece. Did you get woke up by the earthquake this morning also?
Thank you! And no, somehow I slept right through it!
😂@@SabsRehabs

Yes! Thank you!

I'd love to have such furniture in the pantry. Nothing says "the abundance of autumn " better than this piece of art.
I totally agree! ❤️
Beautiful and I like seeing you use different products than the ones commonly used over & over😜Thank you for sharing👍🏻😉👍🏻
Thank you so much!
@@SabsRehabs Forgot to ask but what’s a good paint product for kitchen cabinets…Any advice is greatly appreciated😉Happy Saturday
