    In my area in Himachal we have more trees as people shifted to work in other sectors, people become less dependent on agriculture

    What if 71800 new earthen ponds n lakes are dug in 718 districts of India by Govt using JCB of Tata, L&T in farmers land using BDO, Tahasildar, collectors etc for real Ground water recharge by MNREGA each year untill India is water sufficient. Govt will is needed.

    Wonderful job.. but Later half of footages are probably not of rajasthan as shown in the video..such greenery is not found in Rajasthan.. Rajasthan was facing water scarcity even till 2017-18.. bcoz of less less rainfall and poor water management..
    Specify in which location you did it, that too in 80's.. if that would have happened in 80's scenario of Rajasthan would have changed completely..

    Plz Maharashtras vidharbha region also required this type odf operation it's very much need for farmers yo stop suicide of farmers

    REFORESTAR REFORESTAR árboles nativos para que VUELVA el ciclo de vida. Los árboles regulan la temperatura en la corteza TERRESTRE . DÓNDE hay árboles hay agua. No existiría el cambio climático. No existiría el calentamiento global. PRIORIDAD para todos los países del mundo. Juntos podemos. REFORESTAR árboles nativos.

      Possible....or it could be due to the fact that earlier communities used to rely completely on surface water.....they didn't have easy access to deep ground water (below bedrock)
