The first part of the video the number one, it seems as though the guy with the gun was standing, I could be wrong but if you're ever have a rifle, and you know a bear is charging if you have time get down to his face level on a knee best time to kneel before Christ and be for a bear charge you're at his level and then pull the trigger if you're standing and his head's going up and down as he's coming towards you there's a good chance you're shot won't be near as good and if you're low his head could be in the way or at least his vitals. How can you be so quick to judge when you don’t know? I almost guarantee not one of these hunts was “for the sake of fun”. Not everyone buys their meat from the meat section at the grocery store.
Pelts, meat, conservation. Sometimes areas can have too many bears and they'll kill every ungulate in the area if the population gets too big. Hunters help bring balance to the wildlife so no one species becomes too dominant. If there is too many bears near a town they start becoming a danger to children and people and need to be dealt with too. There is so many reasons to kill bears. But if your in an area that has next to no bears, they should not be shot unless necessary. You let them be and hope their populations grow.
