Who at Apple thought that it was a good "update" to read back the voice text AFTER it was sent? It used to be read BEFORE sending to give the option of editing.

Doesn’t read whole pdf pages.
Speak screen used on Apple Books app on my iPhone or iPad only reads the current page and then stops, doesn't continue onto the next page (don’t have this problem with Kindle app). Any ideas why this is happening?
How did you get it on your kindle app? I have a kid and I’ve been wanting to read Harry Potter but don’t always have the time to sit down and read. So I wanna use my AirPods and listen to it

Maybe you should try voiceover it is a bit of a learning curve, but it’s not that hard and it would’ve read the full page And go to the next page
Voiceover recognition has not all languages. if i use albanian language for voiceover by RHVoice, voiceover recognition not work. on voiceover recognition has not an option to select a language always, any case… alltime a language for voiceover recognition…

This is not as good as they claim . It read’s everything at once . It’s not pausing when there is a comma and it’s not stopping when there is a full stop.🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
You still need to be able to read the screen to tell it what to do. I thought this would be good to use after cataract surgery but my wife could not see the screen
I believe that’s when the VoiceOver feature would be more helpful.
this all sounds very nice, but I am sory to say it just doesn't work. As a VoiceOver user I am not able to choose languages in a proper way when I want to read an e-book in the Apple Books-app. I choose the language (and a voice) simular to the language in the text I want to read, but I only get the same US-voice, reading out the text in a both awquard and anoying way, as the language does not fit. This has been going on for a long time, and I have been in contact with Apple Support about the problem more than once. So far nothing has changed. 4:10
Hey Apple, my AppStore isn’t working for some reason and it keeps on having the circle just spins over and over again I don’t know what to do. My mom tried updating it. The update was finished but when I went to the App Store to get something, it just had the circle please fix this.

But “Read body of article out loud” doesn’t work when the screen is locked 😢 I have tried everything and it fail. It will read a few words than it breaks apart.

Yeah cool but only once you finally fix the voice bug for good. Either the wrong voice I being used to speak or the pow quality version of it. This happens on iPhone and Mac for me and has been happening for 8 months…

this feature sounds so robotic. why can’t it sound smooth like sir
Looks like a lot of work has gone into developing this feature. Unfortunately it is more frustrating and fails to deliver. I once enjoyed using ‘spoken content’ for news articles. I subscribe to several sources and apples News app. Spoken Content meant I could get the news without spending valuable hours reading news. But now it reads the ads and links while SKIPPING OVER the actual news article. The problem is not source site based. Occurs across most news sites. It’s so bad I have given up and looking to cancel my subscriptions.
Fix the bug!!! It only reads one sentence before it stops. Has only worked one time perfectly and after that all it does is read a single sentence and then stops. Useless feature

I have tried doing both methods. Selective text highlighting a paragraph and then the read entire page. Neither option works. Its not difficult. The controls are simple enough to understand but the product itself is not working. And even when selecting a simple line to read off, of it contains a simple comma or quotation mark it stops reading as well. The skip but does not work either just repeats the same line over and over or just crashes. There is a reason I will be switching over back to the Galaxy line. Though everything might not be as streamline as theh are on the Apple side but at least it allows me the option to find other avenues to getting working programs by not being so locked down.

What’s the point of this function ? If you need texts read aloud to you, I assume this is for the visually handicapped, but in order to use this function you need to be able to see and make precision tapping motions on the screen, so this is therefore not helpful at all to people who are blind. So I ask again, what is the point of this function? Who does it help? And to whom would this be useful?

This would be helpful for those who are learning a language and want to hear how a word sounds. This would be helpful for anyone who wants to do something else while they listen to text being read. I see fine and I use it all the time. It can read pages of textbooks while I fold my laundry etc.
I used this on my iPhone 13 Pro Max all the time, now that I have the iPhone 15 Pro IT IS NOT WORKING!!
