I hate they cutoff that long stretch. New course is a shorter more technical course where there isn't a lot of room for error or even room for that engine to really stretch itself out. So NASCAR better build bulletproof brakes and transmissions because with the more laps they want to run on a cutoff course, that's a lot of stress on the car twice if not thrice as hard.
crazy that f1 is still somehow faster in full layout
Yeah, that is really amazing. F1 cars are unbelievable here.
If you wanna see it in race action, V8 Supercars raced here in 2013 and it was awesome

Yeah, I'm sad they got rid of that long straight too. I feel it will be hard to pass.
Rev limiter hit on maybe 90% of shifts
Why does NASCAR love to use inferior circuit layouts? It’s already absurd enough to see these cars completely disregard track limits
Different Motorsport different regulations
Bro nascar sucks. Shortening road course tracks is stupid watkins glen is shorten, and now cota? Stupid crap
Yeah, I wish NASCAR raced at the Boot at Watkins Glen. That would be amazing to watch. I like the long layouts too.
