Glad to hear complete ballet and 24:45 the fairy garden finale is so ethereal and sublime like a direct transport to heaven thank you for the beauty😇
Just the best ever known orchestral ravel : Jean Martinon
Lovely, but it's not the suite. It's the complete ballet.
Martinon was such a superb conductor- particularly in the French repertory. The orchestra sounds perfectly idiomatic too. thank you for posting this elegant music.
Thank you for visiting this channel
Okay, if you don't want to mention it then I will mention it. This is the Orchestre de Paris.
Thanks for checking
This is the most lush and magical recording of this piece I've ever heard. Martinon brings out all the voices in the orchestra exquisitely and down to the last note. The harp glissandos at the end are glorious.
Excelent version, full of detailing, the Orchestra in fact is the "Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris", not yet the "Orchestre de Paris".
Not true. The Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire was disbanded in 1967 and the Orchestre de Paris was formed the same year. This recording was made in 1974 with the Orchestre de Paris.
really bad mixing, imo
There is some weird crap that happens.
