The sock trick is pure genius
Just ordered. I pretty much gave up on dotting because the smaller sizes were killing me to hold. This gives me creative tingles again. I can't wait to give them a whirl! Woo Hoo!!! 🥰

love these new tools. they are much easier to grip. holding tools in this way allows my hand to be much more steady. so my dots are more uniform because the pressure is consistent. THANK YOU

I watched the video, decided to give them a try. I love these. Great clean up, fingers and hands don't seem to get as fatigued as with using the skinner ones. I'm glad I bought them.

I received the new dotting tools today and put them right to work! Truly an upgrade, you really are “Genius”! The dots are perfect and the weight of the tools is amazingly light. So easy to hold in any hand position which I change a lot to keep my fingers from cramping. Thank you Rachel! A total success!

Rachel, I just love your products!! I have an enhancement request for future runs of this product. Even though you show how to contrast (white on black) to make it easy to see, but it is small. It would have been good that the number be put in the bigger fatter side of the grip instead where there is a lot of space to make the number bigger. I will end up using a sharpie to do that but it would have been better that the set is manufacturered that way to begin with. These are a beautiful set.

I saw these tools and knew I had to have them. I wanted a set of tools that gradually went up in size. You have hit the nail on the head with these! I love them! They are so easy to hold and get your dot where you want it. I also wanted to comment on your video about painting with bottles. I watched the whole video and I want to say that this video is worth it''s weight in gold (I know people say that and it sounded good) Anyway, in the beginning of my dot painting I got some bottles from Michael's and had no idea what I was doing but saw it on line. The ones I got are not geared toward dot painting and I had lots of trouble. Your video also explained alot about paints, such as medium and heavy bodied paints. I had no clue. What a great learning experience! So, thanks so much for your videos and tools. I will now order the bottle kit that you offer!!

Just ordered my set (along with multiple other items) I'm brand new to this, have yet to put down my first dot even though I've been watching videos for close to a year now) i can't wait to get my set, actually try my first project....but REALLY looking forward to new tutorials from you...using the consistency and guidance of your key (ex: green tool #9 = __mm) of which tool is being used as we follow along
Welcome aboard! You got this! Starting is the HARDEST PART. Even for experienced dotters, other things always seem to take priority. (laundry, dishes, family...etc.) Art deserves your time. Always : ) I've got some great beginner projects coming up so stay tuned!

Yes, the stylus tools are a must. They work best for swoops and walking the dots. Both of those sets are all you need : )
Do you know if 91% or 99% alcohol would be too harsh. That's what I have on hand for my alcohol ink media.
Oh I don't know about that. You can always test on a small part of the tool.
These look pretty good...for all the reasons you mentioned. I am wondering though, why you would use alcohol on them? I understand that alcohol can be harmful to plastics and rubber-type materials over time. I' like to see your tools now after 1 1/2 yrs of use. TIA!
I wouldn’t soak them in alcohol, but you can absolutely wipe them in alcohol. My tools are still brand new looking after years. I’ve never had to replace them and I’ve never had any complaints from customers about alcohol over time.

My son ordered these for me and I received them today. I really appreciated him doing this for me but I thought the set came with numbers on them like what I saw in the video but they came with no numbers on them. Hi Nancy! Yes.There are numbers debossed in the black tips by the handle. You can add a touch of white paint to fill them in. Check out the booklet and video to see all the details 😊

Can you use these dotters with an ink pad on paper?
I'm not sure, I've never tried it. I'm not sure it would work very well because the tips are hard. Stamps usually are made of a softer material.
Dear Rachel, Ive ordered some dotting tools and am anxiously awaiting for the package to arrive in Singapore :) Quick question, i been practicing doting with acrylic tool and im getting this crescent formation when i dot , usually most visible on the larger ones, What am i doing wrong? Paint too thick or thin? Would your dotting tool differ from this issue? What could help with this problem? Thanks so much cant wait to get started. :)
Sounds like your paint is too thick. Thin with pouring medium or floetrol to fix.
What about the ball tools that are missing?
Stylus tools are excellent just the way they are. ❤️ they work better with metal tips. Those are sold separately.

I see that you use a 'lazy susan' to assist with your dotting. Do you sell them? If so, I would like one no bigger than 6".....
You can buy lazy susans at any home store : )
Are the tips silicone?
No, the tips are a hard plastic meant to resist chipping. The handle is like silicone in that it's softer and resists paint.
Ahhhh, my tools are all already outdated!!!
If you get good results with the tools you already have, stick with them 👍✨It's all about what works for you.
