Just got into Karting and found you guys this past week. This morning I've noticed that there's a difference in your Subscriber Count?
Congrats on 2K guys! Thanks for helping me learn about & get interested in Karting!
First off, welcome to karting and thank you for watching! Not sure what's up with the subscriber count discrepancy, but that's youtube for ya 😃. We are excited to hit 2k subs and appreciate you noticing! Feel free to reach out to our email: stahlracingvlog@gmail.com if you have any questions as you get into karting

@@StahlRacing Thank you I greatly appreciate it! I'm really clueless when it comes to the mechanics of Karts at the moment, so I've been looking for an all inclusive video on how-to-build a Briggs & Stratton Kart with approximate costs for parts. Sadly, there's next to none out there for the type of Karts I would like to work with. It would be amazing to have a better understanding of the task I'm undertaking, because I would like to build my first Kart to make sure I have an idea of how to fix any issues that may occur on-track or during a weekend.
If that's at all something you guys could put together during the remainder of this off-season, I'm sure there's a lot more people than just myself who would find that video important to getting their own start in the sport!
Thanks for taking the time to reply, and consistently uploading some of the most entertaining and informative videos on this side of RUclips!
I can relate to that, when we got started we were 100% mechanically inept. Now we're only about 75% inept haha! I remember when we just started how overwhelming it seemed. I like your idea of an all inclusive video of whats needed to build an LO206 kart. We actually plan on doing a video kind of like that, but specific to the Birel Art AM29 since it's the kart we know best. The AM29 video would show all components that we use as well as our baseline setup. We also plan on doing a video outlining the basic setup changes. The cost can be tricky cause prices will change after the video, but we could include links to the main components and indirectly provide costs.

We use to haul our oval karts in an open trailer. Lots of rachet-tie downs. Oval karts are not as wide so ours would be put in the flatbed trailer sideways, side by side with the kart stands stacked inbetween.
Now that sounds efficient right there! Ratchet straps galore with an open trailer, thats for sure!
Thanks so much, this is helpful to figure out some of the starter options for hauling karts.
Glad it could help you!!
Where is the cooler for drinks and look at the size of that garage love it.
The garage is a good size when empty, but man it feels small when all the karts and trailer crammed in there 😂. And don't worry, there will be a cooler of White Claws ready and waiting next time you make it up here
Nice set up! Well done
Hi, really simmple question could you make a video about common isues with the lo206 that will make it not start and about tuning the engine? I would really love it!!
Thats a great suggestion! I will see what I can put together
@@StahlRacing that would be awesome thanks!!
I have a very similar trailer and and looking into a similar setup, how well does that stand roll up and down the trailer ramp? Does it bottom out at the top of the ramp onto the bed at all?
The stacker stand we use rolls up the ramp well, with 2 karts it gets pretty heavy. I (Kacy) can do it solo, but it can be tricky. With just 1 kart its much easier. Unloading is very easy! Our stand does not bottom out. Also, We've found it's best to hook up the trailer to the tow vehicle to avoid the trailer doing a wheelie (we learned this the hard way lol)
@@StahlRacing Thanks!
Very clever idea
Thank you!
Just my thoughts. Invest in a small cargo trailer. It makes things easy.
Oh how I wish we could! HOA's are our road block to having an enclosed trailer. None of our HOA's allow trailers to be parked in driveways. We've thought about a low profile one that could fit in the garage, but we have to manually move the trailer into the 3rd car section of the garage and the weight of an enclosed trailer would be a bit tough. Thanks for watching! -Kacy
Why not tie down bottom kart before stacking? Then not working around or banging head on top of stacker
Look Ken, don't go bringing common sense into this! 😃 JK! Now that you mention that, it's so obvious thats a easier way to do it, we just started doing it this way and never thought of that lol. We'll have to start doing that! Thanks for the feedback
You guys should try the retractable Rachel strap
I'm interested! Where can one find these retractable ratchet straps??
Looking to buy a similar trailer. What are the dimensions on yours. I’m thinking 6’ x 8’. Thanks!
Ours is an 8x10, but a 6x8 will work just fine!
can you strap a go kart on top of your car?
If you have a kart, car, straps and a friend to help. Why not?
Where did you get the kart stacker? thx
We got ours from Comet a few years ago. Here is a link to one on their site: cometkartsales.com/Streeter-Two-Level-Double-Kart-Stand-Stacker.html
Are you guys gonna be a Spring Nats?
Hey Nick, thats the plan! At least Dad and myself (Kacy) How about you guys?
@@StahlRacing yessir! See you guys then!
Want it easier? Get a large enclosed trailer and keep everything in it... ;)
Man I wish that was an option! The stinkin HOA won't allow trailers in the driveway 👎
@@StahlRacing OK, I'll rephrase the answer. Move, then get a cargo trailer and keep everything in it. I'm not going to rant about HOA's, I'm not going to do it, nope not at all...
No cargo trailer? Why not?
Dumb HOA says no trailers in driveways 👎
@@StahlRacing Dang
what are the trailer dimensions?
10 feet long and 6 feet wide
Please always want to join go-kart please 🥺
