That's unreal how you guys are catching air.
I competed in the German Championships years ago. I still feel my ribs, hips and knees. If you have never driven a racing kart in grippy conditions, even on a flat track, you can‘t imagine how hard it is mentally and physically. What a track. Today i would not last 5 laps of this 😁
The rib protection systems offered today help with fatigue

Where would they park everyone? You would have to push karts to and from for a mile plus.
@@RobertJohnVenableno u dont lmao. Theres parking less than 5 feet from the track. The problem they have is parking capacity. Club race days like this usually have anywhere from 80-120 people. The parking fills up quick so they would need to expand the lots, which they are doing now actually
@@BaconVisuals there’s parking, but not enough for the 300 entries that other tracks bring when national level series like USPKS and Stars show up. He’s got a point

Awesome track, I live in TX so hopefully I can check it out someday. You can really see the inspiration from Spa, Brands Hatch and even Laguna Seca T1/2

went here for my birthday with the rental karts and even then it was so much fun to race around here. If you or anyone you know who lives in or near ATLANTA likes go-karting this Is a MUST. This was my first time go-karting and after having the time I did it certainly wont be my last.

I've been falling down the kart racing rabbit hole. For a moment I thought to myself, wow, a shifter cart sounds like a great idea. After seeing this, all I feel is fear XD. Jesus fuckin' christ, this look terrifying. You're definitely made of tougher stuff than me.
And it's a whole other business irl

If you think that these are fast (and they certainly are) then you've gotta see some Division One Superkarts on long circuits such as Knockhill or Assen. With a 250cc twin cylinder 2 stroke engine and a 6 speed gearbox the top guys can reach 150mph.
David Coulthard once tried one out and said it was the most frightening thing he'd ever driven!!!!
We were doing 11o in 1973 with none of this gear. That was a wild ride. @@bearymos4805

Amazing circuit, spectacular driving! Although 2:07 not sure if passing is allowed into a waved yellow... he deserved the win either way but one must be conscious of the flags as well

I love kart tracks that have elevation changes the only kart track ive been on like this was a track about 15yrs ago in southern California called Moran it had really nice elevation changes it was like a mini willow springs / laguna seca but unfortunately it closed down.

How much does it cost to drive/race there? Can you bring your own kart? How fast can their karts go aka top speed? Also is this the track you can see when you're landing/taking off from Hartsfield Jackson airport or is that an entirely different track? Lastly how many laps do they give you?

Knarly short track. Most of the apexes were good. A few got a little loose, but on that bumpy of a track it's going to happen.

I love Karting, I have never tryed a shifter kart, just give me an old worn down shifterkart and a full tank on a race track, It would be the best day in my life (not including the day I met my wife or the birth of my children). shifterkart would beat rallycar, helicopter and plane.
What do you think of this track compared to European tracks like lonato,lemans etc
Love the challenge this track brings with all the elevations changes. European tracks can get a little boring with how smooth and flat they are.

Yes the driver that was in front of me at the start was on a KZ TM. This was an open shifter race so any shifter engine was allowed.

Yes, 6 speed sequential gearbox.

In a shifter you get fully airborne at turn two and four. It’s insanity

@@Dad_Pool try lo206. 4.5k USD used. lot less power and 4 stroke but its a spec class meaning everybody uses the same stuff and it runs on pump gas so lot cheaper there plus a hard compound tire that last a long time.
@@JohnDoe-gn3rg Here in Brazil the 4 stroke is more shepaer too , but the problem is i'm 1,88 100 kg , i will need to do some modifications , to get more power like ..an Honda motor here have like 15 hp but can get 21 or more with some stuffs , but thanks man ! and sorry about my Inglish i learn by my self LOL
@@Dad_Pool your good most tracks have a "heavy" class for heavier drivers. Everyone uses lead so you are all the same weight.

It exists but it needs electrical stuff and all and if it fails you should buy another and it is EXPENSIVE

Good catch. That was reviewed by the officials and the second place driver was awarded the win for that heat race. The final race was even crazier. Kremers and Frank put on a show!
