Mark my words: Sherrone Moore WILL be a coaching legend someday. Possibly the best coaching hire ever at Michigan. He gets it. He gets the game and he gets people. Many championships to come for Michigan and Coach Moore in the next couple decades!
Early on this season, I held the opinion that Michigan isn't the type of place where one begins their head coaching career and maybe this stage was a little big for Coach Moore right out the gate. Then Coach Moore said, “Hold my beer.” I stand corrected, and joyfully so. Go Blue!
It reminds me of the old days, when you had a coaching lineage within your program. A Bo Schembechler moves on, but you've got a Gary Moeller or a Lloyd Carr ready to sustain the core philosophy of the team and potentially take it to new heights. If nothing else, you go to sleep every night knowing that a Michigan Man is leading the team, and we have that.
I love listening to Coach Moore. He's calm and calculated, but also doesn't take things too seriously. He does show his emotional side too when he needs to. Natural leader. Good things to come!
@ yeah highschool stats and projection, he was a bust. If Michigan “did” anything to hinder his development you would’ve seen a late blossom in the league like with Gary.
@5wi5h614no Shea Ruined Shae. I used to play PlayStation with Joe Milton and he always told me how him and Dylan mccaffery would show up to film and weights early, Shae would be out golfing.
@5wi5h614Shea was never really worthy of the 5 Star Rating. He wasn't that good at Ole Miss either. People just heard "Former 5 Star Recruit" and just assumed he was going to be good for us. J.J. was good for us, and people still felt like Michigan didn't develop him. Ask J.J. if he feels like he was properly developed at Michigan.
I love that we're snagging blue chip recruits, but I hope we never overlook the Mike Sainristils of the world. That's a 3 star guy who is a Michigan Man through and through and whose work ethic and leadership will take him anywhere he wants to go. When I look back on the success of the past four years, that's the kind of guy who comes to mind for me. He will always be a personal hero of mine, and the image of him breaking up that sure touchdown pass to Cade Stover will hang on my wall until I die.
In a szn where we werent gonna win the natty anyways it went about as good as it could've. Almost forget hes the first black HC at UM too. Jobs just getting started but the future is looking bright 〽️
It seems like he fits Michigan and today’s college football climate like a glove. But, to anoint him as any kind of all time great without actually doing it, yet … he’s still got to prove he can cook with the ingredients he’s acquired. TBD.
We cant say that yet, boys. He went 7-5 in his 1st season as HC with one of the worst starting QBs in the country. Lets evaluate him after 3-4 years and see where hes at. Go Blue!
@@JW-28 stop it, get some help.... he's the guy going forward.. heck 7 wins when you have no offense or QB in major college football is pretty dang good if you ask me..
Sherrone has helped improve so many things about the football program next it’s time to translate on the field which I believe he will do I’m all in on Coach Moore GoBlue!〽️
I refused to be overly critical this first season. Glad I took the back seat and just enjoyed the season. Sherrone and Michigan are going to be just fine over the next few years.
Well he fired the OC after his first go around for the bettering of the team where Harbaugh would've been stubborn and kept Campbell for a few more years until he finally got out of his own way
What a great legacy Jim Harbaugh left at Michigan, hired and groomed his replacement, closing out with 3 Big 10 titles, 3 wins over Ohio State and a National Championship!
All of you that wanted Sherrone Moore fired a few weeks ago, Where are y'all at??? He's a 1st time Head Coach, some mistakes and mishaps were bound to happen. It took Nick Saban, Pete Carroll and others a little bit of time to figure it out - some of you are so not intelligent and unrealistic.
It was obvious to me Kirk Campbell needed to go. Not sherrone. Gotta give coach his dues. Harbaugh didn't leave coach Moore with a lot to work with, especially at QB. Future looks bright!
Do u remember when Ryan Day shattered Michigan in 2019? Now look where he is, Day was also a first time head coach & the idea was that he’d only improve. Let’s not pretend Moore is a made man yet, he has a long way to go & he’s using Harbaugh’s guys. Not to say he will fail, just that it’s still very very possible
Here ✋️ i was, the non-believer in Moore, and I still have my doubts. He beat an overrated OSU coached by an overrated moron. I would have thrown 40+ passes against M with them elite wrs. I hope I'm wrong about Moore. Go Blue.
Couldn’t agree more with Coach Moore on the importance of securing that top in-state talent for the big rivalry game. We see it here at Texas. Texas kids appreciate our rivalry with OU and A&M more because they are from the state. I have no doubt Michigan and Ohio kids feel the same way.
Because you also need to look at what a coach has to work with. Any coach could have gone 11-2 with OSU's current roster, a truly great coach should be sitting at 12-1 or even 13-0 right now.
I live in Belleville and graduated there. Brice and his Team has brought ESPN to lil old Belleville M.I Brice is just one of those players. That makes you fall in love all over again with the sport.
now just get me an OC that utilizes his QB and WRs to balance out with the run game and i think all the fans will be happy. I know this season the passing game did no favors so moore had to just keep running the ball but in 2023, he just made JJ mccarthy hand the ball off 40 times in the games he was head coach (remember that penn state game?)
I know last Saturday is killing Wasserman! Have to admit I thought he’d be an osuCKS Homer but he’s pretty honest & unbiased. Andy keep being the guy you bump into at a sports bar & wind up talking ball with for 3 hours. GO BLUE!

Time will tell, but insulating Moore with trustworthy, successful comrades will be the key. UM hired him so late, they didn’t get a true opportunity to do that last offseason.
Some say SMU might throw the ACC title to get more of the conference into the playoffs. Anyone think that Ohio St did this already? lol they were already secured into the playoffs. Sure looked like it anyway beating themselves. Oh and Sharon Moore looks like a band director.
Charlie baker head of the NCAA came out January 10th 2023 and said “the sign stealing had no impact of the outcome of the games and Michigan won the national championship fair and square, no one can doubt that. As far as investigations go Michigan is under investigation for recruitment violations”- Jim bought potential recruits a burger….. just my opinion here but since Jim left for the pros they can’t penalize Michigan anymore Jim will probably be banned from coaching college ball again and Michigan will get a fine and may have to surrender some of their wins from the 2022 season but that’s very doubtful to me. Michigan won’t get the DP like SMU got and wins won’t be vacated, probably will lose scholarships at the worst.
I’d count this as the “official first win” against the Buckeyes….so don’t be getting too excited. You’re still at 5 losses with no playoffs. Can’t remember when OSU was at 5 losses??
Idk that michigan loss Is gonna be a dark cloud looming over ryan day heading into the playoffs he knows he coaching for his job and he don't seem to be able to handle that pressure very well

Yes thank you i said this after penn state he needs to stay.
Isn't it wonderful how Davis Warren, after the up and down year he had, gets to go out as a winner over Ohio.

Coach Moore had my respect after his handling of the penn state game last year
I just heard Andrew Babalola interview on a national show. OMG!!! This is the Michigan difference.
O-Line, O-Line, HC Moore #1 Thank God For Coach
as a gator fan down in Baton Rouge, I'm a michigan fan from afar. this guy is great.
Michigan also had the number one recruit several years ago under Harbaugh (Rashan Gary).

I have a feeling Travis Molten will be that Sainristil type player on the defensive line. That kid is insanely talented and way underrated.
Well they also recruited those types with Eli Owens and the sleeper DL they got who had 19 sacks as a senior.
