Grandma’s cookie recipe is the appropriate metaphor.
Grand Daddy Michigan knows that power run blocking & running the ball effectively between the tackles without fumbles- this by far is the most important part of the winning recipe.
Most of these other teams recruit receivers & build finesse.
By we at Michigan and in our high school systems too heavily emphasize run blocking - a philosophy honed in the ancient Leather helmet era.
Writing ruined the soul of poetry likewise passing ruined the soul of football. Michigan incarnates the Ancient soul of football

Bryce Underwood didn't commit to be a handoff merchant. Michigan is going to pass the ball more but the run game will be used also. Haynes & Marshall might get more targets in the pass game under Lindsey.

There is no reason Michigan can’t stay true to its DNA of smash while also adding some haymaker passing game to make defenses stay honest and defend the whole field. If Michigan can get up big on opponents they can then really lean into power running and get back to their boa constrictor style in the third and fourth quarters.

Michigan can fun any offense and still do the tuff style things . maybe not as a freshman but I do think Underwood can run power. and Moore is building a oline. the running back room is stacked, Marshall, Haynes are going to be great. the wide outs are a question mark that needs answers and there's young guys that can play but vary unproven.

Michigan typical runs gap blocking schemes… that is power and duo. Lindsey runs zone blocking schemes.
Pretty much every snap Michigan took the last year was out of shotgun.. but they had Loveland and Bredeson on the field. The year before that was Loveland , Barner, and Bredeson on the field. It’s out of gun.. but still 12 personnel. This won’t change.

😂😂 pretty sure until this year, you guys were stuck doing the same thing every year. Going no where in the playoffs. Then Michigan started figuring it out for a couple years and you spent 20 million dollars to change that and still lost 😂. We got the natty last year. Where not trying to do anything you are. We know the Michigan way. That works pretty well for us even this year when we had no offense. Say what you want about cheating (it’s flipping signs lol, everyone knows they could be stolen, change things up) but you got a whole season taken away for paying players. How soon you forget, don’t throw stones from a glass house. “Lil bro” lol, 14-2 and lost to a down bad Michigan team at the shoe 😂😂😂😂. Go look at the 80s and 90s, we’ve had our time

Michigan fans delusions are run rampant. I suppose that’s the copium hopium of college fans. I just prefer looking at reality.
Seeing comments about bully running. When was that last season? Y’all were 60th in ypg and ypc. Ran the ball 72% of snaps. O line isn’t improved.
Sneakily, also bad at pass protection.
WRs? Meh. TE. Meh. Running backs. Unknown. Coaching and staff. Unknown.
It’s just nails on the chalkboard for people to act like it’s default, guaranteed Michigan goes from 130th offense to a top 10 offense.
It’s the same kind of arrogance of last pre season when all Michigan fans thought they could repeat and saw no problem being ranked 10th like that was any kind of reality.

He doesn’t start until after the Nebraska game probably. His story mirrors Trevor Lawrence. They need experience for Oklahoma and Nebraska. Keene is the guy. They’ll get 2-3 transfer WR’s next year who are good. One of them will be Biletnikoff level.
