I think in the climax of the Succession War arc, the story will cut to the future, where everyone from the Black Whale has gone missing, and it will be up to Gon and Killua to find them
I don't think it is Gon and Killua mission to go there to the dark continent. What purpose do they have to go to there. To go to the dark continent you need to be qualified. The real journey starts in the new continent. Gon and killua will read about it somewhere in the paper.
@@laquanlucas6953 Disagree and to be Perfectly honest, I love HxH but for me Gon And Killua are the main guys, if they never come back there is no point in this story for me
@@Maikelswe1985 They are going to come back in the story. But it is not going to be in the dark continent. Mostly likely their return debut heading to Metro city where Gyro resides. But it all depends on Togashi at the end of the day
Togashi drew a pic of Alluka saying "I'm from the dark continent" so it isn't really a theory atp. I think Alluka could teleport them to the DC because he has been there before. Also there are blimps that deliver goods to the ship every now and then so they could pop up in one of those by sneaking in
Going to the dark continent is almost like some form of wish system. You let the Gatekeeper know what you want to find, and it exists, but it bases the disasters after those wants. Someone wanted to be immortal, and it created two forms of it: by constantly eating nitro rice or by getting infected with Zobai.

"Gon & Killua's stories are over, just let it go". Ik guys, but lets just have some fun and not destroy the hopes of everyone else. And thank you for continuing to watch my HxH content. I'm working on improving it, and eventually I'll have stream of consciousness videos or it.
I know they aren't over, at least Killua's isn't over. I would like to hope Gon's story was over, I never liked him. I always was interested in Killua and Kurapika- they were where my interest lies. And Gon always just bored or annoyed me. So: The existance of Gyro aside, while I WISH Gon's story was over, I know it's not. And because of Alluka: Killua's story is definitely not over.
There’s literally no way they don’t return since we already know the possible endings. Gon will re-learn nen and will probably develop some nuances with his ability jajanken. I think he will be commissioned by either ging or the zodiacs. He is either already on the ship and just haven’t been shown or will meet the rest of the expedition team at the gate to the Dark continent. I see him return with killua as well as other friends like kite, morel, knuckle, meleoron etc as a small combative force.
Gon is going to relearn nen and do things differently than before. I don't think he is going to attend the dark continent. Mostly go to Metro city where Gyro resides.
This arc is like the yorknew city arc, where kurapika is just the main character for this arc, but gon will eventually come back and become the main character.

Gon was the wild boy archetype when introduced, i think he'd be able to survive the dark continent on his skills alone. Plus he's proven to have his sea legs, so if he could find a crew brave/dumb enough to go, Gon would make it as long as the ship stayed intact.
It truly depends on how much of a toll these chapters are taking on Togashi's health. If he's in pain and just pushing to give us one last arc I don't think so. If he's doing good, yea I can see it going further and I hope it does, fav manga ever

Gon heading to the Dark Continent sounds cool, but it doesn’t make sense right now. He’s lost his Nen, and without it, surviving there is nearly impossible-it’s not just another adventure spot, it’s a literal death trap. Plus, with Ging already found, Gon's main motivation is gone. His arc feels more about recovery and growth now, not jumping into something that even veteran Hunters can barely handle.
I like Gon, but at this point there’s really no need for him or Killua going forward. They were good introductions to the story. I’d just prefer for Togashi to continue the story of other characters. What the point of a stronger Gon when we already have Ging?
No please.
