I had found it difficult to read the Bible and always struggled with understanding it but you make it so clear and relatable. I recently heard one of our elders at my church proclaim "once saved always saved", and it broke my heart. Not for my salvation but for the rest that heard him saying this. This video is just what I needed to hear. Thank you so much for your truthful teachings.
What merits eternal life /salvation ?
Are you saying the rest that heard that it may effect their salvation? Why & how could it?
There are way more scriptures that point to the elders belief than not. When we read rev3:5 we have to solve it otherwise there is contradiction. I know the word "if" is used. Could it be set as a warning as "if it were possible"? Then I ask myself why would Jesus Christbput my name in the book before the foundation of thecworld if he knew I would be blotted out? I'm not taking either side because I do believe that the falling away has begun.
I backslid for a good number of years not to the point of denying Christ but back to drinking, anger and bad thoughts, not going back to church and at the end didn't pray. I was chastised hard by the Lord to bring me back on a life/death health issue. It brought me back to repentance and in Christ. Am I fooling myself and my name is no longer in rhe book even though I have a deeper hunger for the Lord, His will & Word? Those on 1 side would throw Hebrews 6 4-6 at me. I quickly realized the context of it, to whom it was addressing and why these hebrews were considering going back to judiasm.Hebrews 10:26 if wevwillfully sin as I did there is no more sacrafice. He & those that used that fail to understand the context of sacrafice and willful sin. ALL SIN is willful and there it applies to every single believer. I can come away at my situation that I was in God's hands, I either repented, took the results of the permanent chastisement on me or kept going and HE would have turned my body over to Satan for destruction & my soul belonged to the Lord
I do believe that those with the osas belief do not take it as liberty to sin or not worry about deciet, being led astray by false doctrines or teachers just as the other side. I do believe that both sides cast stero types against each other to keep things stirred up as Satan works at it.

My dad was a Pastor in Oklahoma, he passed away last year. I loved my dad. Your viewing of the Bible is right on to my dads. Thank you for you and your sons teaching the word of God. For, I would like to say; what I believe when it comes to your subject. I will start first with this:
I believe that Jesus IS, WAS and shall ALWAYS be the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever be. Thus, your title proves this. How? It says "Lamb's" wrote the book of life. Now, "Lamb's" has always been Jesus. Well that book was written BEFORE creation begun. So HOW can he begin in "Mary's womb"; when He wrote a book before Creation? HUH? Thus just 4 examples: (There are many more!) And why Jesus said this...
John 8:58 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was within God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh (Jesus), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (Jesus, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Those 4 verses makes it crystal clear; that God became a fleshly being ON this earth; and His name was Jesus! Only a blind fool can not see that "Fact Absolute". Believe it or not. Yet, MOST of the Christian World denies that. How sad. Now...
There are two books: The "Book of Life" written by Jesus BEFORE, the ACT; and the "Book of Deeds" written by the angels, AFTER the ACT to the End of the world.
And the reason for that; was to prove that Jesus WAS "all knowing", past, present or future! So when the 24 elders on "Judgment Day" opens both books; they find that BOTH books are absolutely the SAME. "word for word". And this is why they deemed Jesus was; the ONLY "worthy" entity; to remove the last Seal ("7th") on the "Book of Life"; written BEFORE Creation!. "BECAUSE He wrote it! Praise Him always"!.
And again; it proves that Jesus is the ONLY true God there will ever be. Praise His Holy Name. End of Story and I rest me case...
...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

Moses asked God to remove his name from the Book of Life and Jesus gave this warning to Sardis as punishment. God told Moses no, but it seems possible. Even though Jesus was talking to back slidden Christians, their names were in the Book. I am not sure that the books are the same. Thank you for your teaching and being honest about your inability to be dogmatic on being blotted out. That highlights that we should strive to overcome and have a sincere attitude of repentance.

The Holy Spirit is omnipresent and will continue to convict of sin and call people to Christ even during the Tribulation. (These are the tribulation saints in Revelation 6)
When I was baptized in 1980 in FL. Afterwards while sitting in a car going home after my baptism. There was a male audio voice behind my head said; "It's Done". What or why there was a solid voice. Please help me understand what it means
Believing your name can still be erased from the book of life is equivalent in believing that salvation can still be lost. Then you do not believe in eternal security?

Thanks for your in depth explanation, the clearest one about what the Book of Life is all about. However, I have a question if kingdom inheritance is reserved for those who have faith without works, yet have back slidden, lukewarm, they still have faith, they believe in their heart Jesus died for their sins, repented, forgiven by God, but aren't actively overcoming sin, will they be denied kingdom inheritance? They will be the opposite of overcomes. But it is mentioned the overcomers are the ones whose names will be blotted out so what gives?
Is the Lamb's book of life already written and nothing will change it or are all names in it but when a person rejects God they get taken out of the Book... Or how does that work?? Any thoughts?
What is the point if pulling out the Book of Life at the great white throne judgment if their names cannot possibly be in there?

God Almighty new who were his children when we were created. He said he new us in our mother’s womb.
He knows all! He new who was his children & who was not. He just allows us to make choices to be Appreciative, stronger & to have no douse of his power & glory. Also for us to praise, worship & testify of his glory that unbelievers will have no excuse on Judgment day. All will have had the same chance to Enter into God Almighty kingdom.
So God Almighty wouldn’t have to Blot your name out of the book of Life once it’s in the book because he already knows his children.

Pastor my question what will happen to those who are "Born Again" and living a "Luke Warn believers will they be "Be Left Behind In Tribulation" in these "Last Days" If possible can you "Teach on this subject" Because when i do "Street Ministry that is Out Reach . I meet some people who have left the Lord they were "Save' put in a backsling position because they never have a strong foundation in the Word. They never obtain mature spiritual. But I know God love them, and he want them to return. Please consider doing a message on this?subject. Thank you for your teaching.
Exactly my question also. Faith without works is dead as mentioned in James chapter 2. Yet in Romans we read that we are justified by faith not by works. Maybe the definition of works is different? Why then does Jesus not like the back sliders and the lukewarm? They're saved by faith as well.
When is ones Name written in the Lambs book of Life, before the creation of the World, or once one becomes Born Again?
Why pray a prayer of salvation if you still must overcome sin daily? I realize I must be a regular attendee at the table of Jesus but what happens if I'm sinning and He comes back.... Shall my name be blotted out? It's so hard for me to Believe this to be true. I can't even imagine arguing over this point. I'm kinda dumb though I work at a hammer factory. I put the metal part on the wood stick.

My church teaches that the Book Of Life
contains the Old Testament saints.
Before Jesus Christ was born.
And the Lamb’s Book Of Life contains the New Testament saints. That was born after Jesus Christ was born.

Ok first off I wanna say love your teachings....but I do have questions about this one....so when I hear the word Christian I believe it means a follower of GOD who has definitely applied to there lives as what is said in Romans 10:9-13 as well as John 3:16 and has been baptized in the holy spirit and accepting GOD'S (paid by HIM but free for us) salvation. So with that said could a Christian actually be erased out of the book of life? I ask this sincerely because Christian doesn't mean perfect. I truly believe that salvation and a relationship with GOD also comes with a process of unlearning what we thought was truth and killing our flesh (lies within life) daily. So the people you said that were being talked to as BACKSLIDING CHRISTIANS sound like people who have no conviction of the holy spirit. If that is not there (the conviction of the holy spirit) could those people really be called Christian or could they be called pew warmers? I ask this because not every one who goes to church are saved or even consider themselves as Christian but they do attend the house of the Lord. Could that be who Christ was talking to and not literally CHRISTIANS? i ask because again Christians are not perfect we sin just like unbelievers but the difference is the unbeliever enjoys it and considers sin as regular where as in the Christian dislikes it and asks GOD to help them overcome it . I believe every Christian will "FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT" till the day Christ comes back or the day he calls some of us home before his return. But that again makes me question well is our salvation then just obtainable about works and don't do's? No I believe we'd both agree it's all about what Christ has done on the cross but our actions will fall in line with the conduct HE wants us to have if our confession of him and our faith and belief in him is sincerely truthfully genuine. Only GOD knows the heart of where the confession is coming from but if it is not those things is that person really saved and a Christian? This is why I do believe once your saved always saved ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY 100 PERCENT truthful with GOD on your acceptance of salvation because if you say the prayer but don't really mean it and no fruits of the spirit is visible can we actually say you are saved or truly have salvation anyway? This thinking is why I also believe you can't lose your salvation because those who truly tasted the goodness of our lord and savior Jesus Christ would agree it's impossible to give it away if you truly have him in your life because that would be the most horrific thing you can do and the holy spirit if truly a follower and saved christian would let that be known and teach us of how such a decision could be gut wrenching. Also what is a backslider? the bible says all have fallen short of the glory of GOD meaning us Christians as well and truthfully I believe we continue to after our confession of salvation but not with an enjoyable spirit why we ask for forgiveness and also feel his spirits conviction to even want to do so. GOD says cast all of our sins on him and I believe he means for as long as you live meaning us as Christians will continue to struggle and miss the mark without the spirit of enjoying it. Maybe I'm wrong and I would love for you to correct me if I am because I'm so open for GOD'S spiritually loving correction. I'm just having a hard time understanding GOD taking CHRISTIANS name out of the book of life when what he has done has solidified those who believe in him and by his sacrifice and resurrection. Its nothing WE can do to earn our way in heaven why in the bible it says it's not about works lest any man should boast, though I do believe the works will be applied because of the changing GOD will do in our lives if we let him lead. Also he said nothing can pluck us (Christians/his children) out of his hand why I'm a little confused.

Yes I believe that a backsliding Christian's name can certainly be blotted out if they keep sinning.
I am coming from a personal experience, I was saved in 2010 but I continued living a sinful life until 2020, I repented, got delivered and now I'm living for Jesus🙏
There is such a big difference between a Christian and a born again Christian. I was a Christian my whole life until I accepted Jesus Christ as
my Saviour. Only THEN I was born again. I also believe that a born again Christian's name can be erased if such a person turns completely away from God and does not respect Him anymore.
Tiff what I am confused about is that Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior and her died on the cross for our sins. When we accept that and confess our sins to the Lord and ask forgiveness. We are forgiven and our past sins are gone as if they never existed. How does that make sense if there are meticulous records kept and we will stand in judgement.? I'm writing as i just started listening to your video. Forgive me if you answer it in the video.

Romans 10:9 says whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved, so how can you think you can lose your salvation? Does not say you are saved until you sin again. Thanks

I believe EVERYONE who’s ever lived has their name written in the Book of Life.
At the moment of one’s death determines whether their name gets blotted out or not.
This is exactly what Jesus was getting at in Revelation 3….
“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are READY TO DIE, for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”

It has nothing to do with ones works or lack there of. Salvation is solely on putting ones FAIRH in Jesus Christ as lord and savior.
