This is my initial thoughts of the Nike Air Max 86 OG Big Bubble golf shoes, and why I returned them.
I have both the regular pair and the golf pair. Have worn the normal pair numerous times without issue but have yet to unbox the golf pair. Hoping that I don’t experience the same level of discomfort that you did with yours! I have a pair of the original AM1 golf shoes and found them to be extremely comfortable.

Any update? I was thinking of getting a pair for daily use.
@@josefkhalifeh4663 love them. IMO they’d be fine to wear as an every day pair. Traction isn’t so intrusive to prevent wearing anywhere. Own 4 pairs now actually.

Got a pair , comfy af , went true to size. Fit good! Forgot to take em off after 18 , very good shoe

@@GolfGuyReviewshey bro just get some aftermarket gel insoles!! I've had some kicks in the pass that weren't very comfortable, got the Insoles and changed them 100%!!! Especially since were sneakerheads we aren't going to wear em all the time. If it was like an everyday show id say send em back
Im a take my chance resell on these isnt to crazy yet but they dropped my favorite AM1 colorway in the AM1 Golf but not the regular big bubbles!! The Obsidian/Navy and red Air Max 1!!! Love that shoe. Ill get a 9.5, maybe buy some kind of comfort insoles and call it a day
Not surprised you had to return unfortunately….i remember the old days of if you liked a Nike shoe…you just got your Nike size and you were golden. But now you gots to try on like 4 sizes to find the right one.

I bought my true size, they were also too small in the toe box. I also feel the rear heel is shallow and my heel can slide out easier than preferred

Dude you need to try them first. You don’t have the same feet as this guy! These are one of the most comfortable shoes

I bought a pair of the OG big bubble Chicago colorway. They're a little heavy, because they are all premium leather, and they are gorgeous, but.....they aren't very comfortable. Not for the reason you had, I had no issues with the bubble, they are alittle stiff and heavy, Hoping they break in, I've only wore them twice, and very lightly. I Wanted thay red pair badly, I say keep em, they're 🔥! Cheers!
you gotta break them in to get the same ride feeling..
In short: Nike Golf sneaker are design for playing Golf not design for wearing casually
only the soles yeah. to have more grip. i have the black white 86 big bubble golf. same great comfort as the running shoes
Sneakers are exact opposite. The golf version I returned bc there was a slant from the MOLD of the shoe. Not the air bubble.
Instead of returning em get some of those comfy gel insoles. Ive had uncomfortable kicks that were just to dope, copped those in soles and now the kicks are super comfy.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried putting in my Game Day insoles but it didn’t fix it, the issue was in the shape of the footbed for me
i have a high arch. my left feet. wich insoles you recommended me?
I have these and love them but they are no where near the comfort of my under armour HOVRs that I wear in the wetter conditions. They do break in and soften alot but I myself had to size up too. I wear Nike Air 90s for trainers and the trainers are far more comfortable than the golf shoes. Thr golf ones feel very narrow and harder materials used throughout
Could you notice the feeling of the larger bubble toward the middle outside of your foot? I’m a massive fan of Air Max 90 trainers, and I agree, Nikes Air Max golf shoes are never as comfortable as their trainers
@@GolfGuyReviews I must admit I never noticed it but after watching your review I did become more aware of it. I after a few holes I do forget about it again. I must admit mine are a little bit more broken in now as I have worn them for a few rounds.

I Can’t speak for the non-golf version I’m afraid
I just got a pair white/ black with gum sole to golf in (since air max 1s are my favorite shoe) and they are the worst quality air max I’ve ever bought. The “leather” is laughable and the paint job on the midsole is awful, and all they had to do was paint it white!
I almost got them, they are in my cart now lol. I didn’t understand why they said golf shoes, I thought it was the same 🤦🏾♂️

I know trainers for golf are the way forward but £153 notes for them when you can get Footjoy premium which look so much better and last longer than these novelty Nikes.
Also if you’re over 40 which I am, you can’t rock Jordan’s or any of these on the course, unless you are a +2 and above ha.

Yeah there been a big jump in price over the last few years, and you’re right, they won’t last as long as a pair of more premium leather shoes.
I’m 37 and happy to wear these…maybe I’m just a man child 🤣

I returned mine because the stitching on the inside of the shoe was some crappy fish wire type of material that was poking through my socks into my ankles. Completely unwearable.
I had the same thing with the really water proof version if the infinity tour, they must need to use the ‘fish wire’ For the stronger upper material
I got a pair of "none golf", and they're pretty comfy for me
