    You have saved my sanity! And possibly a tv from getting smashed!
    Not only did this restore the audio but the HDMI input color got back to normal. It was starting to show a reddish tint on skin tones.
    Wifey kept saying it was time for a new tv.
    Not anymore!

    Hello. I had this issue with the volume AND the voice guide would not turn off either. I tried finding aSamsung customer service number to resolve these issues but could not find one. Anyways, this fix corrected everything!!
    I had vowed not to buy another Samsung TV eventhough I love the picture and sound. Thank God for your directions. My Tv is now working properly. I cant thank you enough. God Bless You!!

    I found this after buying another remote (which did not solve the issue) and it worked just fine. Thank you so much for this help. I think lot of people have now back up remote like myself!!!

    Thank you so much!!!I tried all kinds of fixes,some worked a couple of times,then they didn't.This worked!I don't know why Samsung would make a TV that works like this.I have a couple of Vizio TVs that I've never had a problem with.I'll never buy another Samsung again.
    I deleted about 20 apps off that TV. I wouldn't be so mad if Samsung would have informed you about this problem. What a piece of crap.

    Thank you!! This has worked great. Kept using the “reset hub” “fix” but it continually had to be done. Have had no issues for several weeks with this fix. I was days from getting a new tv because of this issue.

    This 100% works. Sometimes the remote restart worked, but this seems to have cleared the problem permanently.

    Thank you so much !!!I tempted to throw the remote at my tv so many time. I was pissed !!!… I purchased a new remote only to realized it wasn’t the remote that’s the problem. It’s not the remote but the tv. I’ve watch another video where I have to click on setting, then self diagnose, but my tv doesn’t allow that function till I came to your video. Oh man your my saver

    Thanks !!!!! OMG everyday I had freaking restart my TV by pushing and holding the red power button on the remote and it works for like a good half a day to 1 day and then the volume get's stuck. But doing this here is better. So far it has been 3 weeks and the problem does not exist anymore and I dropped back to this video to comment this and like it too. Dude thank you so much !!!

    This worked for my used 65in Samsung Smart TV. Was given to me because the volume was stuck and the keyboard to type WiFi password and or email wasn’t popping up. DELETING UNUSED APPS ON THE SAMSUNG SMART TV FIXED THESE PROBLEMS. Can’t beat free babe!

    I have very strange problem with my TV sound. When I connect my Cable with HDMI or laptop with HDMI output, sound works normally. TV speakers are working. When I volume up or down or searching throught MENU there is a sound. BUT my APPS dont have a sound. When I connect my USB or External drive to watch movies from it no sound. I tried to connect even bluethood earphones there is a sound when I volume up or down but content itself (youtube, movies from USB) no sound..... I mean.... Really...

    My Samsung tv’s sound was stuck for month’s, I was looking to buy a new tv because of it…
    I reset the smart hub like another video suggests, and this fixed it temporarily but it kept coming back…
    I tried your method of deleting apps and hopefully this will help permanently.
    Can you just turn off automatic updates to stop these apps from downloading again?

    I tried that but there was no settings thing to click on, just sign out. My tv is a Samsung 401k series 6 smart tv. Do you know how I could possibly get to the app settings? I went to the top like you said but no settings emblem to click on.

      Thanks for the kind words. I dealt with this problem for months with both of my Samsung TVs. I could find nothing on RUclips that actually fixed the problem. Finally I found out how to do this fix by reading a Samsung user forum. Apparently it's a really common problem with Samsung smart TVs.

    I've had an issue for months were the volume on my Samsung gets almost stuck... it goes up and down 1 volume number and will not let me go anywhere else. Sometimes if I turned everything on and off multiple times it works... other times it didn't. I've tried everything and nothing fixed it. After watching this I simply delted some apps and it seems to be working... I am hoping for the best and I'll know in a week. Thanks for the help on this.

    After a year my volume has always gotten stuck between 6 and 10 and I could never figure out the problem until I did this, It also helps with the brightness because I would turn my tv brightness down at night and up in the morning

    When I try to delete the apps that I don't use, and like you said there are a lot of them, I get a message that says that basic apps cannot be deleted. But, it doesn't show how I can delete all the other apps that they downloaded on my TV. Purchasing this TV is turning out to be a big mistake. First, I had to research on RUclips how to turn up the volume. After finding that now, the volume goes out when I change channels. It's crazy.

    Hi. Can someone help me out please. I recently got the samsung au9000. The volume is very low. I've tried everything I know of to fix this problem. The tv I had before. Listening to music on utube. Voloume 10 was loud enough. But with this tv to get that same voloume I have to go up to atleast 25. Do you think maybe there is a fault with the tv. Thanks in advance.
