    I just bought a new GT HD two weeks ago. This battery does not need to be as secure as gravely makes it. Thanks for the help.

      Good morning ☕️
      The Gravely commercial zero turn mowers are built for a mega fight. The engineers know the beating they will take once they leave the manufacturer and head out to the field for battle.
      Non commercial mowers are a little less built in terms of battle. Reach out to us any time. 😁👍

      It should not move at all. If it does, it may slide back into the cooling fan blades which will chop it open.

      My battery has terminals on one side can I use this battery?

    Is it okay to use a zinc washer? I lost one of them and was just making sure it’s ok.

    • @DIYwithMichaelBorders
      @DIYwithMichaelBorders  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching & we use original OEM washers. Best thing to do is contact your local Gravely dealer and pick a washer up from them. We would assume it would be less than a few bucks. Not sure what they are made of. 😎👍

    Do you use zinc or galvanized washers for terminals? Anyone?

    Everything was working well until I tried to lift the battery up! It won't slide between the gas tank and the frame. It acts like the battery is too fat to come out. I need some help. This is a zx52 and not a zx60. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks

      Thanks for watching, some enclosures require battery to be ever-so-slightly shifted at an angle to come out. Any update?

      I know this is 11 months ago but you can loosen the fuel tank bolts and move it a little to give you more room.
