Thought of putting the screw at the top? Unreal. Also....what size to get the screw off that you all decided to put in a nearly unreachable position???
not sure why they didn't design some clip attachment for the battery ON TOP instead of a nut way the hell down there. Not everyone has a socket extender. 🙄
On mine, battery cables have 10 mm bolt head and 12 mm nut. The battery hold down is 10 mm head. Stupid location of battery hold down is nothing compared to PITA oil and filter change.
That's funny. No one sales cub cadet here anymore because they have been nothing but trouble. Closest dealer is hours away in a different state. Explain why batteries aren't shipped with the battery acid please. Are there alternatives batteries we could purchase at a local place?

The bolt for the battery hold down is at a stupid location should be at the top.

You should not have to unbolt the battery hold down. Why have to stick your hands all the way down when you have access at the top
LZ60 model is impossible to remove.
You cannot remove the battery like this on the zforce sz48 commercial. Poor design.
Can't change battery like this on an RZT 50
Doesn't work like this on Z-Force SZ Commercial mower. There's another bolt in the way that seems to be accessible from under the mower. POOR DESIGN!
Iuckily i REMOVED BATTERY BY MYSELF..NOT MECHANICAL HERE BUT HAVING ISSUES REPLACING THAT HOLD DOWN BRACKETT! MAY LEAVE IT OFF! LOL!
