Hey Mike! Just got these bags in today. I was wondering if you treated them with toss sauce before using. Website recommends only hot water but I’ve been using Toss Sauce with good success on my last few sets of bags.
You can use Toss Sauce to break them in. I used it on mine.

Would the SLOW side be comparable to XLevel Shadow or Cat 3's?
No. Completely different materials.
First off, I bought some, ( 1 day ago) just haven't received them yet. But wondering why aren't these or other bags ACL stamped? I know Templar is ACO and carpet but just wondering
Bag companies cannot make ACL and ACO stamped bags. They have to pick which league they want to make bags for. The bag makers have to pay for the stamp and they have to get bags approved in order to put the stamp on them. That is why not every company chooses to put a stamp on their bags.

Mike, I noticed the bags were landing on concrete underneath the board. Would that be rough enough to potentially snag the soft side? I’m curious if these are strictly for indoor because of that soft side
I throw all my bags on concrete. Pulls and snags don't bother me. They don't affect the bag. It's only cosmetic. Pulls and snags can also happen indoors. It's not just the ground. Rough spots on the boards, especially the underside of the hole, can cause them. Some carpets will catch and snag the bags. There are a lot of things that can cause pulls and snags.
Every material is susceptible to them. The softness doesn't increase the likelihood of them. The fast, thinner materials are typically more prone to snags. It is rare to have a slow side material get a snag unless it's a fast bag. I threw the Masonics for about 8 hours on the concrete and there are no snags on the bags.
I love throwing on concrete because it speeds up the break in for the bags.
