Got Too Rowdy With TJ Hunt In The Altimaniac...

We ran into TJ Hunt at the Drift League competition last weekend and he invited Jackson and I to a private day with the boys at Willow Springs. What was supposed to be a fun day running the Altimaniac totally bare bones.. turned into almost a full day of car issues for both of us. We even caught on fire, with potentially $60,000 in damage.

Remove the idler gear from the throttle body. When you do the dbw delete on the 2jz that idler gear still drives the motor on the dbw and that motor can fail.

Pull the throttle body and remember the driver gear on the e motor sides put it back in and your good. Motor is going bad and hanging the throttle on tj’s car… happened to my 1j in the verossa.

hey man, just a thought i've been having as i have been drinking a lot of NOS lately. what if next year for FD you switch liveries up to a black purple and yellow livery for NOS GT Grape? i think it would be sick looking, give a fresh feeling to the team, and is the better flavor, people should know.
