the tiger had thicker sloped frontal armor longer guns bigger shells. i dont consider this movie accurate of what really happened for tank engagements. from what i have read they would need anywhere from 5-10 tanks (shermans) to engage 1 tiger and even then odds were not good. the germans did have quality hardware but there was not enough people or equipment to actually win the war much less have supply lines. the war was lost before it started. all allied forces really needed was just wear down german forces knowing they dont have the infrastructure to replace what is lost in any meaningful span of time.
fury has a 76 mm and the m4a1 with the larger turret has the same gun with above 100mm of pen while the tiger has 100mm of frontal armor meaning it can butter the tiger, unfortunately this is holly wood and they dont wanna be realistic about an relatively easy situation, they did right about smoking the position and blinding the enemy, but they didnt need to bridge the gap when they can have the 2 76 shermans melt the tiger
@@MarkoVeselic that's also the first WW2 movie i've ever seen. Me and my Grandpa used to watch it everytime it appeared on TV for movie nights. It's sooo nostalgic.
