I think some Tourists think the Palace Guards aren't real soldiers.
They are. Extremely dedicated ones and they are not to be messed with.
You wouldn't go up to a Secret Service officer while he was protecting the POTUS, so why would you approach a King's Guard?

I was walking past Horseguards one lunchtime a few years ago and a couple were attempting to take some photos, the woman was standing alongside the horse and stroking its neck, the horse lost patience and stamped a foot on hers. The Blues and Royals guardsman had a wry smile on his face and I think the horse was smiling as well as she hobbled off back to her man.

They're not obliged to move when marching to their post or have people close them taking pictures. Would tourists do this to Chinese, Russian, or American soldiers? I don't think they would. Our Royal Guard are recruited from our armed forces, and they're there to protect the Royal Family etc. Some may think they look silly in their tall bearskin hats and such, but these boys are trained and experienced soldiers. They're there with a duty of protection, not as a tourist attraction or gimmick. They deserve respect, and they will command it if need be. They will march through you or over you, as duty comes first, and looking out for someone in their way, or for someone just generally being a disrespectful tw*t, is not part of their duty. lol
All that said, there are videos out there of some Guards breaking their composure: laughing, falling over, interacting with kids, etc. Some are fake, but some are real. As stated in the video you watched: "they're human too".

They're disciplined. I don't think any shown there were angry, except maybe the one who punched someone which was not explained or mentioned. They'd walk through you if needed, but the "step back" is very much so they don't need to, or to set boundaries, not anger. If it was anger it wouldn't be so consistently the same phrase and intonation from every different guard. It's also worth noting that those are real guns, if you get handsy they need to keep you away lest you try to take the weapon, which even the most basic infantry will never allow you to get close to doing. Standing still and at attention like that for the extended periods they do is also far more physically demanding than most people realise. Try doing it for 30 minutes without moving yourself. Then try doing it in that clothing for an entire shift.

This just one of the reasons why I am a republican, it's quite clear that many people around the world see us and our royalty as nothing more than some kind of entertainment park attraction.
This is SERIOUS stuff, although I am a republican it doesn't mean that I support bad manners, if I go to your country I respect it's laws and it's traditions, it is after all, just simple very basic good manners to show some respect for the country you are visiting.
I would love it if there were a group of soldiers whose job it was to be 'around' out of uniform, but are on standby to 'deal' with these disrespectful A-holes, by perhaps escorting them out of the area with a warning not to return under threat of arrest if they do, in the event of someone being stupid enough to ignore the warning then the soldiers should have the power to 'hold' them until the police arrive and they can be arrested, taken to a station and charged.
Just show some F-ing respect, it's not a lot to ask.

The scene of the punch is not true. The guard is just someone pretending to be a guard - it was a setup.

For anyone in doubt, the clip of a guard slapping a tourist is a fake. He's obviously much too scrawny to be a soldier. In real life he would have 'presented' his rifle to the tourist as the others did. The fact that he didn't have a rifle is also a clue. Unfortunately the idiot is all over RUclips.

Frankly I did not like the shouting and the Guard's interaction with the obnoxious people.
The Greek equivalent are the Evzones of the presidential guard in Athens.
However they are not allowed to move or speak at any instance.
There is an Evzone of the guard (wearing a regular military uniform) in a post near by and if an Evzone has a problem, he hits the buttstock of his rifle on the ground, so that the Evzone of the guard approach and ask him what the problem is.
The reply is with eye signals, since the Evzones are not allowed to speak while on guard duty.
Usually the sergeant of the guard would ask for annoying tourists to back off and he will call the nearby police if required.
There was only one instance recently, when a drunk man tried to take the rifle from the Evzone on guard in front of the entrance of their base and the Evzone knocked him down.
The police intervened immediately and the drunk man was arrested.
One funny thing that happened to me, on the sidewalk, next to the parliament building, they use to walk in when they change the guard in the tomb of the unknown soldier in Syntagma square in Athens.
As I was walking absentmindedly, I heard the steps of the Evzones coming from behind, so I turned my head to see how far back they were and I saw one Evzone shoe right next to my shoulder (and I am 6"`2"), I guess they did the high kick step for me to get out of the way, needless to say I did get out of the way in a hurry and they passed right next to me lol.
Here are some videos about them:

The changing of the guard takes place every hour, while the grand changing of the guard every Sunday morning.
This one is in Greek but it shows some things about them:

He would be allowed to use whatever 'force' he deemed necessary to protect himself and or the King. although, I may be wrong, If I am I am sure someone will correct me, but I don't think their rifles are actually loaded, although they do have ammunition on them with which to load it if it's ever needed, terrorists for example.
